I think with a young developing core, as much as I like the thought of Frank at PG long term it’s secondary. My primary concern is his skillset, how it’s developing and how that skillset fits with the other long term prospects for this franchise. I look at KP, Knox, THJ and Trier once we ink him; I think scoring is covered. They all need touches, so I actually think the “ball doesn’t stick” mentality for frank is complimentary. On top of that, frank’s defense in front of shot blockers like KP and potentially Mitch is potentially game changing.

Listen, I’m 100% behind the thought that frank’s peak potential is as a PG. I understand skepticism about him meeting that position’s needs though I think he’s showing flashes of everything he’d need personally. But even if his long term prospects are at another position, I think he’s a long term great fit with our other young core players. So PG or not, I’m excited for his development.

Watching the games, I don’t see how ppl don’t see Franks Potential.

He reminds me of Giannis, when he first came into the league, as far as how they approach the game. Giannis had to be coached into being aggressive, but once he did...you see the results

I think the same is going to be the case with Frank. Dude can’t even be sent to the liquor store yet. Frank is going to be the Truth.

KP is still developing, and I hear idiots calling up sports-talk radio shows saying KP is overrated, smh! I don’t know what it is about the NY/NJ area but it’s a bunch of impatient/caught in the moment Mofos

Rewatching the game and the energy is off the chart :wow:

Timmy was hype as hell :wow:

Vonleh provided nice points :obama:

Frank is a defensive pest, dude will be good. Like dude above said, sorta like a young Giannis (obviously different but still)

Trier is that dude :wow:

Overall, great team performance. Wish I would’ve gone to the game :francis:

Considering Knox is only 19... I am worried about what happens if he isn't an all out all-star by the beginning of his second year, regarding fan reactions.

Just like Frank, he was drafted as a project. There are no predictable timelines for these kinds of players, same with KP.

KP kind of fukked it up for future Knicks draft picks since brehs expect immediate results.

It's a rebuild year and brehs are showing no optimism and/or support for a Knick in his second year.

Meanwhile, Philly fans giving standing ovations for a No. 1 draft pick making his first 3 pt during a year when they NEED and are expected to compete.

Wow.

Did I miss a window where the 76ers window is closed at the end of the year? What exactly does "during a year when they need and are expected to compete mean"? Just because our plays are so far ahead of their age curve doesn't mean we're in win now mode. It's a luxury I hope you guys experience.

:gucci:I must have pocket dialed the Philly thread or some shyt. My bad, breh.

Yes, you aren't in WIN NOW mode. However, you are seeking your second consecutive playoff birth and in a year with such an apparently weak conference, this is an opportunity that everyone should be expecting the high talent players to be fully locked in and ready to compete.

That's not suggesting a win mode of desperation.
It's more like, the Iphone has made quality phones...so the next iteration needs and is expected to be quality otherwise we see a value hit in the stock.
Based on last year, guess what? Y'all nikkas are now expected - internally and league wide - g to move the needle of success even further not back.

Now, I know you've been trusting the process for a while so that type of logic might be rusty...:comeon:

If I'm a Philly fan, I'm definitely supporting Fultz but come playoff time, I'm definitely crossing my fingers for him to get the basics together. At the end of the day, I know y'all Philly nikkas will support y'all draft pick and be optimistic about him until the day he doesn't have a Philly jersey anymore...am I wrong?

Wait...I was being a little too peaceful:what: I'm just realizing you try to shoot a shot with the "I hope y'all experience that luxury."

nikka...which one of y'all tank season draft picks are doing so far ahead of what was expected of them?

OKafor? Where is that nikka?
Embiid? nikkas around the league were getting impatient with this goofy nikka. He was STARTING to create doubters until he showed out.
Ben Simmons? nikka... He got rookie of the year in his sophmore year. Nobody thinks he's so far ahead of what was projected. When he gets that jumper...then we can revisit.
Fultz? :comeon: I am rooting for the kid but nikka plays like the space jam monsters spiked his apple juice. FOH.

Y'all are right where y'all are supposed to be after half a decade of intentional team sabotage. :manny:

I've seen this Frank thing play out a million times...From Mardy Collins to Balkman, to Frye, to Gallo, to Fields, to damn Anthony Randolph:scust:

People keep coming up with excuses why these guys didn't do this or they're eventually going to do that..meanwhile there's red flags that an objective observer can easily point out.

I don't have a final take on Frank yet, but I I'm not into cats with potential. Been there done that. Either he's the real deal or not.

And just for the record I will gladly eat crow if he proves to be a..you know what? I'm not even sure what are we using as a bar of success for Frank?

Is it 12.5 pts, 6.5 assists, 3.5 rebounds, 2 steals, keeping the offense flowing and above avg to great defense?

Based on what I'm seeing I will sign up for that.

Be careful breh, they're not going to like that...

Breh... drank a gatorade and do some stretching.

Even with the disagreements... This has been the most optimistic discourse in ages. Nobody out here catching any fades or doing meet ups, nikka...

We don't have much to really argue about...so we talk about shyt that isn't as toxic.

Go Knicks, right?:mjlit:

I agree but talking about Fultz am I the only one who feels they treat him like a special needs kids In the special Olympics with his 3pt shot?

Philly Fans: OH wow Fultz shot that 3!:ohhh:

Philly Fans: The ball went in the hoop!:blessed::lawd:

But deep down you know they thinking About how they fukked up on trading Tatum
:shaq2:

All ya'll should be happy DSJ sucks so we don't have to suffer like that too. Frank does not shoot the ball like he is in the slow team like Fultz. He had to earn his start, and is playing better. Give him some credit.

Also the Heat just gave Winslow 40 mil a year to be a lesser version of Frank and he can't shoot for shyt and is injured all the time. When you look around the league you should appreciate where the Knicks are right now roster-wise.

They definitely were. I was at the game last night, everytime Fultz scored, they went wild. They even gave him a standing ovation when he hit a jumper :dead:

It was a bit embarrassing to watch honestly.

First part of your post is cool. Second part is uncalled for. That luxury shyt was legit hope for your team. Take shots when folks are wishing you well brehs :gucci:

Anyway Fultz has played 48 games since high school including college, SL, 2 preseason's, and all that Jazz. Rome wasn't built in a day we always trusting the process round here.

Also half a decade of intentional sabotage? Stop saying that like it's a negative when plenty of franchises have been trying to do it the right way and have sucked dikk for way longer than 5 years.
