Stretching is a waste of money when there's a lot of free agents next year at the end of his contract. Right now, there's nowhere but up for us to go, whether we win or lose.
A. We could either maximize the potential of our young guys and attract talent with the 5th pick locked in.
B. Our guys could be terrible this season and we could skim off the fat with a top 3 pick and a free agent.
This is the best time to be a knicks fan ahead of bandwagons.

Makes me salty we got rid of Willy too since Hornacek didn't give bro a chance in his sophomore year. And we let him go for nothing
. It looks worse since KO left and we coulda had got something for him at the deadline after KP went down, plus we got rid of Hornacek

Hornacek wasn't the right man for the job. He was fresh from being fired from Phoenix and I think the pressure of winning under a city like New York got the best of him. Instead of looking out for the team, in terms of player development (Frank & Willy), he was looking out for himself. Fizdale, on the other hand, is preaching growth and maturity. That process takes time, considering the amount of youth we have on our team. I don't believe none of this would be possible if Phil Jackson was still employed. Bottom line, I think the front office has finally learned from its mistakes. There's no shortcut to winning (even in life). It all starts from the top and Steve & Scott are, at the very least, building a foundation for a winning culture. As a fan, I'm genuinely excited for this upcoming season.

I'm 60 days sober myself and shyt tempting as fukk. Also the draft lottery has changed if you are in the 1-9 range you got a damn good shot at 1-4. I just got this weird feeling we're due as a team for a good draft. We haven't gone up in 30 fukking years. We are due!

That is a good offensive lineup but its gonna get killed defensively. Like bottom 10 defense, but this is a growing season so changes can be made.
Biggest thing is shows is how raw Mitchell is he had like 8 fouls. Frank still not attacking enough, Mario looked good offensively, Offense seemed to go through Kanter. Its open practice so all this is up in the air.
Yeah according to people that were at open practice Kanter was murdering Mitchell out there. Frank was hesitant just like last season, Timmy was retarded just lke last season and Trey-I looked really good
