I'm sorry...

Regardless of talent, Jimmy Butler really has rubbed me the wrong way something serious.

How has the shyt really gotten THAT toxic over there? nikka has only been there for 1 year!

Believe it or not, if you're the veteran player joining a young team...of course you're probably going to walk into a casual situation... Isn't a leader/vet supposed to understand the deficiencies and know how to get the best out of his team?

And I understand the work ethic he shows. But, this shyt is weird as fukk. I don't want any of that shyt in NY anymore. To keep it a buck, though...I never want to contemplate Towns or Wiggins in NY either at any point. fukk all of them, honestly.

100% Agree. I have ZERO interest in Butler.

What would he say ? He wants to go to the Knicks

Could say nothing like Lebron did when he was in Cleveland, how Kawhi was in SA, and how Jimmy is now with the wolves. Usually, these guys make no statement when they want to leave. They don't say "why would anyone want to leave the current team I am on" and then names their current teammates like Kyrie does.

He also shyts on that Jimmy Butler and he talked about playing together rumor by saying they haven't had a real conversation about teams since 2016.

If anything I wouldn't be surprised if Terry Rozier isn't matched or if they look to move Marcus Smart.

Pressed if he would be disappointed if they didn't win a championship, Irving responded, "Can we beat Golden State in a seven-game series? Yes."

What makes him so sure?

"Because of who we have," Irving answered, "and what we're establishing here, not just for this season, but for hopefully for the next few years, something that's pretty special.

Also

'Why won't he commit to Boston?'

"Well, there are financial implications involved."

If Irving had signed an extension with Boston this past summer, he would have potentially left more than $80 million on the table than if he waits and re-signs with the Celtics next summer.

"I'm accepting it's going to be a constant story," Irving shrugged. "It's a point in my professional career where it is a big-time decision. I've been away from Cleveland officially for a year now, and I'm finally getting acclimated in Boston.

"Last year it was almost like a trial. There was a lot going on. It was overwhelming at times, to be honest. The focus needed to be directed on getting better and helping my new team win a championship, instead of focusing on all the outside noise [regarding his departure from Cleveland] that affected me personally.

"I was afraid to admit that initially, because I wanted to be prideful and handle everything. So, it's been a matter of figuring it out and growing.

If Butler meant getting Kyrie then I’m all in this leagues about premium talent

While Butler is more a complementary then a star if you had a KP Kyrie Butler core that’s pretty damn nice

But it sounds like the Kyrie thing is a pipe dream so if that’s the case just getting a 30 year old Butler and nobody else well then no thank you

This is all that matters.

Thank God we didn't compromise our plan based on media driven rumor.

On to the next story...

I'm not buying that Kyrie to the Knicks is a pipe dream, I still think there's a chance he leaves Boston next year

But I'm fine with whatever happens, I'm not gonna sweat it like many of you do and come up with futuristic starting lineups, hypothetical scenarios

I live life one day at a time, I like our management now and the direction were heading in. Thats what counts most

Butler looking for the max probably. He’s nowhere near a max player.
