This doesn’t make any sense...this dude’s ceiling is absurd. If fiz gets the development right on frank, Knox and Mitch; that’s an insane amount of size mismatches on the floor once KP comes back. That’s without mentioning the cap space and potential for a lottery pick.
I pray the development staff is on point cause if they are:banderas:
1 more month till preseason too:noah:

There's such a logjam at the Guard positions that I'd probably have to sit down with the full rotation to work out what I can realistically envision. You got Frank, Burke, Mudiay, THJ, Dotson, Lee for now and then Baker. I'm gonna assume Lee is gone and Baker doesn't play because...

PG Frank 22/Burke18 /Mudiay 8
SG THJ 30 /Dotson 12 /Frank 6

Would be a rough baseline for me. I'd like Frank at 28-32 mpg in an ideal situation. Burke needs to get close to 20 mins and can bump other guys when he's running hot. Dotson is the wild card. I'd love for him to be a 10-15 mpg SG but that remains to be seen. His minutes could go to Frank or Baker. Mudiay ought to get opportunities, so I'd start the season with him penciled for close to 10 mpg and let him earn more time. I would expect the rotation to whittle out at least one of these guys (Mudiay or Dotson) and that would balance these minutes more but preseason should inform all of this a lot more.

You think if Lee is still on the roster come opening night he gunna be a DNP-CD (coach's decision)?

Idk. I hope he's long gone before then but racking up a bunch of DNP's can't help his trade value :francis::sadcam:

I think he plays if he's still on the roster, even if its less than 10 mins a night. That's still 10 mins too much but at that point what other alternative do you have :yeshrug:

If you take Fizzy's words @ face value Lee won't be seeing much time at the 3, if at all

I'd be pleasantly surprised if Dot got more than 10 mins a game:ehh: If he can earn and make the most out of his opportunity he'd be perfect to slot in as a back up SG/3rd string small ball SF. I really want Frank to play at least 10 mins a game off ball, yes he plays best at point but giving him some PT at the 2 keeps him on the floor, gives us a balanced, versatile lineup(s), makes Frank more versatile himself and hopefully makes him a bit more aggressive; as a SG I'd just want him constantly attacking, hunting for his own shot, and looking to score. Within the flow of the offense ofc. How I'd like the mins breakdown to look like:

PG-Frank 20 mins/Burke 20 mins/Mudiay 8 mins
SG - THJR 30 mins/Frank 10 mins/Dot 6-7 mins/Mudiay 1-2 mins
Small Ball 3- Dot 4-5 mins

As much as I value defense I must say Id rather have Trier on the main club taking a roster spot as opposed to Baker :beli:

Baker :hhh:

Sometimes you just need a guy on the squad thats all abt gettin his regardless of the game situation :yeshrug::manny:

Hell, prior to the trade deadline a general consensus of Trier > Mudiay may come to the forefront :skip::pachaha:
