I wish Frank had a quicker release. That may hurt his shooting.
relatively speaking..........players release time improve the longer they're in the league....more reps = greater efficiency
also if he's spending considerable time at the 1 or 2....with him being 6'7 with that wingspan....there are very few guards in the league that should be able to affect his shot...let alone block it on a close out.
I think he'll develop into a 40+ percent shooter from 3.

Can we possibly temper our expectations on our youth?

Setting up higher than necessary expectations are only going to lead to, at best, mild happiness.

But being a bit more... reserved can only increase the chances of exceeding expectations.

I mean...we are only inviting negative energy by entertaining the "is frank going to be better than Ben" talk.

One thing I’ll say about frank and his potential, we really don’t have a great gauge for his ceiling because the coaching was terrible last year and especially with regard to him. I’m not tryna puthis upside on par with one of the best rookie seasons we’ve seen period by a long shot but I’m HYPE to see what he looks like in a competent system and with a coach that gives him some leash to work with and get comfortable.

Someone asked his on/off on offense for that same span...we were just better with him out there.

It’s one thing to have optimism but saying Frank could be better then Simmons is just being delusional
