all they gotta do is get through the season.
leave him on the bench, give him garbage time mins.

next year is the final year of his contract. simply buy him out like atlanta just did melo

its really that simple, but i no these fools wanna overcomplicate things.

I fukking knew it. This is the fukking KNICKS THAT I KNOW. I KNEW IT WAS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.

Little logical things like this for an example. The fans know what to do in this situation. Other teams know what to do situation.

BUT THE fukkING KNICKS GM AND OWNER DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO IN THIS SITUATION??!!?

It's not like this helps the tank either

this year is a wash
i don't care if theres drama, we need to think long term
theres no proof that we tried to reconcile with him, and if e we did and he rejected it, then to bad
hes under contract with us. we tell him to report to camp and if he doesn't thats on him:yeshrug:

This is not a carmelo anthony situation where he kinda had to be traded after everything went down.
noah can sit on the bench and it will be business as usual

payin him for the next 5 years instead of playing him 1 season and buying him out is retarded:yeshrug:
Especially when it’s a big monkey wrench in our 2019 plans.

Welp, frees up a roster spot and clears a path for MRob to get consistent mins backing up Kanter

Weak as those silver linings may be they are positives imo

Brehs forgot what dysfunction and drama could do to proper development.

We are a passionate bunch... I am not going to use the energy to cape for the FO.

I guess you could say...

I'm not going to stretch the Noah conversation unnecessarily.:troll:

I hate letting them off Scot-free.

When I see the Knicks are heading in a decent direction at a good speed then i see a pot hole from 10 feet away and we PURPOSELY hit the pot hole. I will keep on questioning your driving skills.

You right though.

I'm over it.

Sources: Knicks still plan to part ways with Noah

Expected this, but still disappointing :francis:

As frugal as Perry has been thus far im a lil thrown off that he's cool with having Noah's dead money on the books for the next 3 years after next season. Knicks gunna be payin this dude well into the 2020s:snoop:
Ideally the only way Noah gets stretched this season is at the end of it because the Knicks have a max guy who will commit and they urgently need the cap space, but practically speaking they really don't want Noah's presence causing issues for a new coach and a young team like @DPresidential said. The smallest shyt here becomes major distractions and worse case scenario his presence fukks with chemistry and player development. I can't hold this move against Perry if he makes it.

Would yall be disappointed if the Knicks turn out doing better than Philly this year. I'm not trying to overhype myself but let's look at the matchups. Let's say Knox scores 15-20 pts per game and is actually a lotto, Frank starts showing confidence and becomes a better point than Simmons and perhaps both Kanter and Robinson are productive big men. What if Timmy has an Atlanta year?

I'm only saying this because I think besides Embiid, Philly is overrated. Boston and Toronto will dominate the east either way but due to there being a lot of scrub teams on the east, we might actually make the playoffs and give promise to new free agents rather than top lottery picks. I dunno if that's good or bad.
