Yea, I feel you.

I'm really just trying to self-temper myself. I tend to fall for players very quickly. I'm trying to be as realistic & objective as possible about my new Knick until the season starts I begin to stan the shyt out of the breh. :wow:

---------------

Also, if there are thread title changes or other housekeeping matters that need to be made, I won't be able to until July 10th - vacation to Antigua.:blessed:

I can't wait to come back after I leave the States tomorrow and here about Knox ripping shyt up in Summer League.

Enjoy the islands breh :salute:

Do you think Randle is trash?

HELL NO. I liked him with LAL, but had a feeling he wasn't going to go back because some team was going to offer him a deal that the Lakers wouldn't pay.

He's definitely better than Mario. Even though I think Randle & Beasley are similar players, I'd go with Randle because he's younger.

Someone in here wanted Randle, you might get your wish breh.

2nd year player option. So it's a legit chance next year. He's not on par with the 2019 big names but he'll fit next to KP both offensively and defensively and his youth fits the Knicks Timeline.

Randle is the equivalent of Zbo in this modern era. He bangs in the paint, rebounds, has a surprising shot range and can defend the perimeter. Also he'll be 24 so he won't fall off due to age. He's the exact type of PF the Knicks need to play KP at Center defensively and PF offensively.

The Knicks get another good wing in 2019 and they'll hopefully be set to compete with The Phillies and Suns who are the only teams who are building to win on the same development timelines.

You make an excellent case for Randle :ehh:

Spending spree of 2016 delayed Julius big pay day. Its a bit of an odd fit but NO got him on a bargain :ehh:

Once money frees up again and Randle goes back into FA, what do you see him commanding on the open market? I think around 15-18 mill is a good range, anything more than that and I seek other options :hubie:

It depends. A lot of teams have money, and it's too soon to say who will go where. But yeah I see him as a 15-18 mil player if he keeps up the production. Knicks ain't really gonna be built to go after a top notch FA. They should try and get the ones with potential who slide between the cracks.

shyt also with Demarcus cousins on the warriors....... definitely let these older players battle it out and go young. I bet the Lakers ain't even gonna try to trade for Kawhi cause what's the point....
