Mills is questionable....but do you really think Perry and Fizdale are going to gamble and lose?

They are silent for a reason right now.

We are in a good position, with many options.

And just because we hear rumors about these options, it doesn't mean we are going to jump out the window like rookies.

This draft is sh1t and outside of Zion I don’t like anyone but as much as Barrett’s game annoys me and I don’t think his upside is even that great after the top 3 this draft falls off a fukkin cliff.

We’re taking rotation players and decent starters at best.

This isn’t the nfl you don’t trade back in the Nba where each draft even the good ones only end up with a few players worth sh1t

3 things:
1. All cards need to be on the table including a trade down. I agree that 3 for 8 and 10 straight up ain’t enough but that implies we could ask for more to pump into the asset collection. Plans change all the time and sometimes you get a surprise, so having every option known and planned for is just plain smart. God forbid a red flag comes up for morant and the grizz take Rj or someone has a crazy offer bc of the massive hype for RJ Barrett...being mindful of all options is just smart.

2. This is also smokescreen season. So it’s possible that the Knicks are just pumping out rumors to throw teams off. Or it’s possible the hawks leaked it. This is the rumor mill time of year, just have fun with all the combos.

3. Our scouts and perry earned the benefit of a doubt with their home run of a draft last season. Mitch made an all rookie team, Knox was top 12 in voting. Trier looked like a late first round value. I’m not saying they’re perfect, but if they truly feel some type of way...I’ll at a minimum consider their perspective.
You put this better than I could.

They're dead weight to the squad. I tried my best to jump on the Frank bandwagon but that lesbian is basura. Dennis Smith is entertaining to watch and at worse Dotson could play a better point than them.
I can't disagree with you.

We need to let the birds free and spread their wings.

Maybe they will blossom and develop into reliable assets with another club.

We tried but need to move on. Free up the roster spots.

I Know There’s A 3% Chance Of This Happening But Imagine The Grizzles Pulled A Fast One And Don’t Pick Morant, He’s Available At 3 And The Knicks Are Picking 8th With Their dikk In Their Hand And A Tear In Their Eye :laff:

Pick Barrett At 3 It’s Not fukking Hard, I’m Only Listening To Trades Of The Pelicans Tell Me AD Wants To Extend With Us
By that logic, Kyrie or Kemba is a better pick than Ja. We have a hidden commitment in Kyrie or a roll of the dice in AD who's cleans off our rookie talent and may potentially go to LA in the long run which fukks us over in 2 years. We'll lose Knox, Mitch and whoever else and then AD waves off to join LeBron and we're back to square one.

Kyrie is a free agent bruh. Mitch will be on Siakum level with KD or Kyrie on the squad. At worse with KD and Kyrie, they'll sign one year, leave and we'll have 2 max slots available again.

That’s Why I Said AD Has To Commit To An Extension I’m Not Blindly Trading For Him

We’re Supposedly One Of His Preferred Destinations So If He Commits You Trade

Who Would Cry Over Mitch And Knox If You Get Anthony Davis Committed In A Knicks Uniform And 2 Max Free Agent Spots?

No fukking Body That’s Who

AD is not committing until KD confirms his intentions with regard to the Knicks.

Got dammit Story... you keep beating me to the scoops!

I knew you'd be looking for that one fam. One note I've got out of the rumors so far...Knicks brass liked Barrett, Culver and Reddish...so my guess is they're putting the wings at the top of the hierarchy of targets (coulda guessed that before the wishlist landed to be fair).
