I tried telling y’all Knicks ain’t dumb. They know they don’t need a player like RJ.

Culver is probably a better pick than cam and RJ if Knicks wanna win instantly and not wait on players to reach their potential

RJ about to drop to 5th or get traded for AD
:steviej:

Yes pls pass on RJ, New York.

Could see us taking a swing at say a Darius Bazley if we catch that pick and he happens to still be on the board that late in the 1st.

I'd definitely draft Bazley if they make that trade; imo he's a lottery talent who's only being held back by circumstance, just like Mitchell Robinson. Someone like Luka Samanic could also be a very good look with that pick too.

It makes sense if the Knicks want that extra cap space to ensure that they can sign two maxes (still to be determined by the cap projection of course). That's range where the two cats who caught my eye the most at the combine scrimmages ought to be (Samanic and Bazley). That said, I wouldn't give up on a defensive prospect like Frank. He already showed signs of 1-4 switchability and effectiveness last season (1-3 definite) and that's something modern defenses need. Hunter would suddenly look a lot more interesting to me if we did that though.

First let me say as a Knicks fan I don’t expect this to happen.... but I’m going to let myself believe for 1 post.

:ohhh:Whoa!

So apparently Chris Carter is close to Kawhi’s Uncle and has been their mouth piece before...... Articles have been written on it.

DSJ/Frank
RJ/Dotson
Kawhi/Knox
KD/Morris
Mitchel/O’Quinn

:wow: That Defense...... that Ball movement.

Its almost a perfect lineup:to:

The best chance of this happening is the Warriors dog out the Raptors and Kawhi see’s NY as a big market, Plus him and KD as an unstoppable duo.

Cause right now it’s Kawhi and blue collar defensive guys but is that going to beat the Warriors? Probably not. Him and KD though would be unstoppable.....

:banderas:

Ok that’s it for my “best case scenario, let’s go back to discussing Culver to the LLakers.

Now the NBA has made the rumors official: Free agency will begin at 6 p.m. Eastern on June 30. Six hours earlier than before.

This was done as an agreement between the NBA and the National Basketball Players Association.

This is going to be a wild July with a lot of big-name free agents — Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Klay Thompson, Jimmy Butler — and maybe a third of the players in the league on the market, plus there are a lot more teams with cap space to spend this season. It’s going to be a frenzy.

I wasn't aware of this. Interesting.

Anyone know what his music preference is?

Is he a Dip-set fan?

Seems more of a MC Eigt listener.

His music preference might give us a clue. :troll:

:russ:

All his work out and highlight videos use Machine Gun Funk instrumentals.....

:hubie:

If that’s not a sign I don’t know what is

That is the absolute most perfect dream scenario we could have.

But there is no way I’m going into the season with DSJ as our starting PG if we get KD and Kawhi.

I’m shopping around to see if there is a veteran PG we could trade for. Possibly someone like mike conley, he would be a great addition but his contract might hurt but he is an expiring. Or I would call Pels and see if they wanna trade Jrue for DSJ/Frank or a future 2nd rounder or a highly protected first.
