I'm actually leaning towards this as long as it doesn't burn up the healthcare system.

that said, the biggest problem I have with all the politicians urging everyone to stay in and not work, is that all the folks telling us to stay in are all collecting their full salaries. so it's easy to tell other people just to chill while they are able to eat and feed their family.

and I'm speaking from the perspective as someone who is able to still work as a health care worker. I'm just saying that forcing the majority of the country to stay in while destroying the economy is insanity. if there's no economy, then there's no way to pay the few workers who are able to still work.

You hear like ceos for airlines and disney etc. say they are not taking their salaries, but all these mayors, governors etc. still collecting their big ol checks not having to worry about unemployment or where the next check is coming from. I never said the MOB ran any casinos, I said they still have some level of INFLUENCE due to Vegas being one (if not) the largest gambling and entertainment capital of the world.

a fortune 500 CEO forfeiting their salary isn't as altruistic as it seems on the surface.

the reason I say this is cuz most of these cats compensation is tied to stock options.

thus, they're still collecting the majority of their compensation. another thing they do is when the gov't bails them out, they use the money to buy back outstanding stock with company bailout money. This reduces the amount of on the market, thus making the stock they receive as their compensation more valuable.

it should be illegal, cuz it's gov't bailout money that's not being used for anything else but to put more wealth into the pockets of the executives.
