1. you not gonna win in any conference without a talented team, Cleveland didnt have super talent last year, they only won on the back of Bron averaging like 46 minutes and occasional spurts of talent but whenever he fukked up that was GG often. for the Spurs to repeatedly vehemently refuse to take Zo (something you can look up rn), you don't think that....the Lakers offered him initially? You dont think that out of all the various young player + picks packages possible, none of them included Lonzo at the start? Dont expose yourself and say yes breh
Those articles all came out after the Kawhi trade discussions began, not before, ergo they woulda had to be leaks after initial deliberations. I dont think Zo would've helped what had became a more player dependent/less movement Spurs offense post Duncan, they would've valued his vision sure but the complete lack of shot creation would've probably had him behind Murray, Forbes, and whatever other scoring wing would've came with that trade for minutes.
