question for the different language speakers (outside of the obvious of immersion) I listen to cds on headphones and while I sleep will my brain subconsciously learn and pick things up? or is that just a myth?

you might become more familiar with the sounds of different foreign words but you're not gonna necessarily know what they mean, how to use them, or do anything useful with them really

It's materials developed by the Foreign Service Institute of the State Department.

Duolingo | Learn Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian and English for free is good too, I've heard. Haven't had the chance to use it myself yet.

i only know the basic and im lucky when i was in paris and chateu d eau that people spoke english to me.

so i been watxhing JCVD movie picking up words and phases
