3rd month has been the hardest one ... Found a few sources for catching BR TV
but had to ultimately get IPTV so I can get the channels in better quality streams.

Reading - I can't comprehend a lot of words but I can identify root words in english
Writing - Not much to say here except the text conversations
Hearing - I can watch kids shows just fine but adult shows are a struggle
Speaking - A lot of gaps in grammar and vocabulary

Time for phase 2....

- Going to improve vocabulary and grammar through 2 hours a day of study
( FS1 Brazil/ Textbooks/ Online courses )
- Watch a movie/listen to a podcast a day
- Catch #ESPNBrazil for NBA games
- Continue conversations with muita mulheres

I had a dream I was spitting fluently on some native sh!t.... time to deliver :wow:

It can be hard unless you are on the cusp of being knee deep in the p*ssy of the target language you are looking to learn.

p*ssy is a great motivator when channeled correctly. Particularly when you are single and looking to smash as many as possible you'll need to learn many nuances of the language to secure each lay since every female is different.

My Japanese unfortunately has stalled because I'm not in Japan and you can get the buns knowing just basic conversational (non-Keigo). Due to Japan's economy I also will not be working there.

So also think about business opportunities that could motivate you and incentivize the process.

This man learned the most common languages spoken by the African diaspora, so he can now speak to blacks all over the world including many in Africa. He speaks English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Haitian Creole, Italian, Krio, Swahili, and Lingala. Very impressive. Krio is a Creole language of Sierra Leone and Lingala is a Bantu language spoken in Congo and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

ive been using duolingo pretty heavy for the last few months, i had a base in spanish before, but im at the point now where i need some in person practice but dont really have any means for it. someone suggested watching spanish shows on netflix and hulu so im gonna do that, and also sign up to take calls from spanish customers at my job so i can get some irl practice.

my gf and i are trying to become decently fluent so we can go to cuba or some other spanish speaking country and try to put it into use

plus i eventually wanna get my money right to cop some land in panama, so leaning the language would be mad helpful

I'm really interested in taking up French again. I took French back in high school cause it was mandatory, I'm fluent in Haitian creole so French came very easy for me, I was acing test and winning awards. When I got to college I decided to put off french and instead study Brazilian Portuguese on Duolingo, that was about 3 years ago, studied Portuguese for a good 6months but once I got a job and started college I had personal time to continue my studies.

I've got a bunch of free time on my hand now so I decided to take French again and try to master it then move on to Portuguese again. Only problem i got know is, what's the best way learn? Duolingo is cool program but I feel like won't become fluent if I used that as my only route, Rosetta Stone is a potential option since it would give me levels 1-5 for fairly decent price $189.99. While studying french I'll definitely be watching movies, shows, etc in french to help me become fluent.
