Regular people who've worked long enough to finally be able to afford 72-80 payments on one of these cars aren't "broke" per se.....and more than likely these are folks who finally make enough to afford their dream car....and that cars sentimental value will remain even if the resale value is long gone.

But this dude is clearly talking about the people who purchase these cars because they have to keep up an image, or are trying to curate one to get themselves into whatever space they seek to be in.
There's a LOT of this going on at all income levels. The number of people who will fake still being rich until the day their furniture gets repossessed is :wow:

Especially right now. The number of people in bad financial shape who just have to have the right house or car regardless of how it's hitting their bank account :francis:

This is why I'm expecting a market crash. At a certain point, people are going to run out of credit cards and HELOC balances

If you’re not liquid millionaire and you’re a millionaire because you bought your house in 1995 for 200K and it’s now worth 1.5 million that’s not the same as a liquid millionaire
nikka what? If I got a million five in cash and 2 mill in debt. I'm in a worse position than a guy with a 200 cash and a home valued at 1.5 mill

It's different tiers of rich people when it comes to the exotic cars

You got the Seinfeld, Floyd Mayweather, Jay Leno types that actually buys the cars outright cause they collect them

You got the celebrities who just need a fancy car as a status symbol. They probably lease

Then you have people who can afford to buy but they only have 1 or 2 cars and they just eat the depreciation loss when it's time to buy another one or they hope the car appreciated enough if it was a special model. A lot of YouTubers and "regular" people fall in that lane.

I went to a Porsche dealership once to test drive a Honda that got traded in and the salesman was telling me it's a doctor that comes every year to get a new 911. They hold good value so it's not that bad of a hit on the trade in.

Yes, a rich person isn't leasing some new shyt every 3 years.
They driving some classic collectible showroom shyt. during the summer. and some regular basic shyt the rest of the year.
Because when you rich, there's no reason not to own your vehicles. 100K isn't a big deal to pay off a vehicle for a millionaire. And you not turning around selling your shyt left and right like a car dealership owner.
This is true, my previous landlord is a multi millionaire. Her and her husband worth over 3 million dollars in properties alone. She drives an old ass Honda CRV with a fukked up muffler.

I know somebody who recently bought a Lambo STRAIGHT CASH. He buys all his cars cash, I won’t be surprised if breh sells it before the end of next year

It’s levels and preferences to how people spend their bread when it comes to whips
