8 carries by your running backs total when you a run heavy team :unimpressed:
Flowers is a receiver. Hill and Edwards combined for 3 rushing attempts after the touchdown drive. 3 rushing attempts over the final 50 minutes of the game. This is the sort of thing that should get coaches fired. The best running team in the league never even attempts to run against a team ranked 18th in rushing yard allowed and 24th in yards per carry allowed while the defense only gave up 17 points.

That's totally fine, but it should also be noted that MVP awards increase expectations from the person who wins it. If posters in here want to continue bringing up those awards, then that increases the onus to win and perform when it matters most.

Absolutely, but he also has time. It's about context. It would absolutely be a valid talking point for a QB in his 30s. ALSO, it's only him and Pat that will have two MVPs under 30 from what I can remember so I find it difficult for anyone to pretend like he's some shyt player. That's objectively nuts especially considering where he was drafted.

Tonight solidified Pat as #2 all time in my list more than it took away from what Lamar is. I get discussions happen, but LEGACY is the word that keeps coming up. That's an unknown quantity especially in football where experience with QBs is the most important element in their growth for a cat that's 27

Some posters in here aren’t keeping the same consistency and are playing favorites in who gets criticism and who is immune from it.
If Josh allen Had this game he'd be getting cooked :hubie: . he got cooked for his wrs dropping balls and his kicker missing a fg, let alone throwing ints and inaccurate fades

Of course both he and Mahomes have time, but the more MVP's and success that they have, the more talk of expectations and legacy come up.

That's just the nature of the beast when it comes to the sports world. It happens in other sports realms and Lamar and Mahomes aren't immune from it.

If anything, tonight showed that it's levels to the QB shyt and Lamar isn't there with Mahomes no matter how posters try and put him on that level.

Tbf to Lamar tho he shoulda had at least two td passes. That Flowers fumble killed the game. Lamar didn’t play his best but he was far from the only reason they lost

He still made miscues and mistakes that helped cost them the game just as Allen got criticism for as well.

Hold them both to the same standard and not play favorites in who is immune from criticism especially if you want to put them up there with Mahomes.

Some posters in here didn't want to hear the same shyt with Allen last week, so let's not try and use it now.

Dudes making excuses for Lamar..
He came up short in the playoffs as usual.
The media and everyone were going crazy over his performance last week where he was dominant running the ball..everyone was saying that's what you can't account for..
No media in his head..dude folded

I never put Lamar up there with Mahomes. Mahomes is in a class by himself. Like I said Lamar didn’t play his best but there’s blame to go around on the offense starting with the coaches

Not as usual, he went farther this time in the playoffs. That’s progress if we are being honest about his qb development.
