That doesn't mean you completely abandon the run. That's how you lose games. It was a 10 point game for an entire half.

They weren't losing by 30. There's ZERO reason to not run the ball to open up the offense, open up the passing lanes, allow for play action, etc.
I'm not saying that you completely abandon it but people are acting like they weren't down 2 scores and like the Chiefs weren't controlling the ball and the clock for the whole first half.

That's more on the gameplan than Lamar IMO. Did he play well? Of course not. But you could tell early they wouldn't commit to the run from him or the RBs, and when they got behind they had no choice but to take shots. Just a dumb call from the OC.

He is 27 years old. Legacy shouldn't even be a conversation right now.

Throw shots at him losing, but to pretend like he doesn't have 5 or 6 more legit shots at it is insane. The same for Josh Allen. I thought that shyt was stupid last week with him too.

The legacy shyt at 27 is legit an NBA thing. Peyton getting called a choker was a reaction to people calling him the GOAT QB up there with Joe.
Seems like every year people lose more respect for how tough the game is and how damn near impossible it is to win a title

And people want their initial assessment to be right. Folks that called Lamar trash want him to stay trash. Cats that called Josh garbage want him to stay that way. It's all ego forgetting about context.

I openly admit I was wrong about Josh, but both him and Lamar are too good to not win a SB at some point. The only thing this game did for me was move Pat to his own tier. He played well enough in both games to get Josh and Lamar to play outside of themselves rather than doing the smart thing they were trying to hit home runs.

He’s 2-4 in the playoffs with 2 mvp awards

@calh45 you sound like a crazy person
Nah. It'd be a different discussion if he was 33 years old. He's not even 30 yet.

fukk. fukk PURDY.

I'm done with this thread. Y'all have fun. Every time I'm in here something bad happens.

So Lamar doesn’t take a hit from the performance :dead:

Oh you a Purdy fan, no wonder you’re defending mid QB play :mjlol:
