Lamar vs the Texans this season(won 31-2):

10/15 for 168, 2 TD’s, 0 Ints, 4 rushes for 87 yards, 1 TD.

Josh Allen vs the Texans this season(loss 20-23):

9/30 for 131 yards, 1 TD, 0 INTs, 4 rushes for 54 yards
Yup and bear in mind this same houston team is 1-5 vs playoff teams their only win? the buffalo bills when allen was terrible and played poorly. Allen most recent game he got outplayed by a rookie quarterback in drake maye and got saved by his defense from losing to the worst team in the AFC.

The man got more credit for losing a game against a mediocre rams team where he tush pushed 3 rushing touchdown from the goal line than lamar got for throwing five passing touchdowns against the giants in a win(NO qb had come close to that statline vs the giants).

If its about actual play on the field and the numbers its not close, if its about giving an affirmative action selection and on sentiments then its allen.

He beat a lions team with practice squad players on defense. Its lamar jackson

Allen has been great with his team but:

The Bills have beaten up on porous teams. The AFC East literally has 3 below .500 teams. Bills play them 6 times. This season they also facing the AFC South which has another 3 teams below .500 teams. So that's 9 games against below .500 teams. And of course, they beat below .500 and battered 9ers, making it 10 below .500 teams

Facing winning record teams, has resulted in an average output for the Bills (3-3). Including a 35-10 route put on them by Baltimore

The quality of teams are just much lower and statistically Lamar is much higher.

That's true. Though you can also look at it like the Bills have taken care of porous teams. The Ravens lost to the Raiders and the Browns.

The Baltimore loss hurts though.

That same Lions team even with practice squad players on defense is still the #1 seed in the NFC and still finding ways to win.

Put some respect on their name.

Besides, the Ravens lost against the Raiders and the Browns since you want to bring up the Bills struggling against the Patriots. You're also overlooking the important detail that he's out there playing with a broken hard.

LAMAR COULDN'T WIN MVP
WITHOUT WINNING THE DIVISION.

HE HAS THE DIVISION NOW
SO VOTERS WILL GIVE HIM THE AWARD

Ballgame! The only other credible and legitimate argument was how can you be mvp when you cant even win your division? they are likely going to end up 12-5 with the 3rd seed, with being this clear in every statistical category, Qbr, passer rating, passing td, rushing yards, total touchdowns, you cant justify giving allen the award for simply having 1 or 2 more wins in a cakewalk afc east divsion with easy wins every year against patriots and jets.

Sucks for Saquon but when two QBs like Allen and Lamar are having the seasons they are having it'll take a lot for a RB to ever win over them. It is funny as hell seeing the situations completely flip from last year where Lamar had the record and Josh Allen had the stats. I think MVP should be Lamar cause this is a historical season stats wise for him and they have the chance to secure the division next week. It could be said Josh Allen is doing it with less talent around him. Honestly this is one of those years where I wish there was a way to rig it and name co-MVPs. Both have been that good.

Did the situations really flip though? Josh Allen was all the way at fifth in voting last season so it seems like his candidacy wasn’t even taken serious. I don’t think Lamar goes lower than third this year.

It did though considering the main argument for Jackson last season was the Ravens record more than his actual numbers. Now his numbers are even better, but the team record is worse.

Now Allen has the better record with worse numbers.
I knew you’d pop up. It’s like I flashed the bat signal
