Edit: I was saying during most of the season that Gasol to the Hawks for Josh Smith in some type of deal would make sense for both teams.

Mike Brown is a phenomenal defensive coach, but offensively he's a fukking idiot. Gasol's numbers dropped this past season specifically because Brown wanted him to take all those mid range jump shots.

Nobody wants his soft ass for 19 mil a year especially with the new luxury tax rules. If his contract wasn't dam near max money he would a been gone and Lakers would a got something nice. Realistically, the Lakers have 2 options:

- Keep him and pay the luxury tax
- Trade him to shed salary but get peanuts in return.

Nobody wants him but the Bulls stay begging for him.

Pau is a guaranteed double double with a post game and great passing skills for a big man. I know Gasol stunk it up the past couple post seasons but yall acting like dude is a straight bum and that's just not the case.
