Redikk will be de facto assistant coach aka punching bag if he's hired

of all the possible criticisms of this hire, people are concerned about JJs ability to “connect” with players? He played in the league in 2021 :dead: guy routinely has on current players on his podcast and has a damn podcast with his star player :skip:

I hate this move for the Lakers and I hate it for JJ. I mean this dude has a great thing going. Got a successful podcast, you one of the lead analysts on ESPN. And from following JJ for a minute, he and his family love living in Brooklyn. And you're gonna throw all that away for a 2-3 year stint in Los Angeles? That's like the worst job to take. Enormous pressure. And why the hell does the Buss family keep listening to Bron and his camp.

Why would you go from one inexperienced coach to another? That shyt makes no sense
Im honestly curious when I read a comment like this…. Who would you have chosen?

Barrego was fired pretty fast in Charlotte, Nori, Cassell, Adelman would all be first time coaches.

disingenuous shyt, typical.
How? Darvin Ham was a top assistant for years… and was TERRIBLE as HC. I’m genuinely curious when I hear people say they need a guy with experience, then who?

None of the other coaches besides Barrego had head coaching experience. All the others would be newer
