Heard this question asked on a radio show. Never thought of it but would be curious of your answers.

Would you be mad? Understanding? Would you actually chip in?

With the high divorce rate and shyt going on in marriage there really is no Benifits in getting married nowadays

Unless your talking about a mail order bride to get engaged with at first the romance tour would probably cost about $1500 then when you get their it's mostly important to find a mate you can see yourself with for a while and a ring doesn't have to be purchased right away she will mostly want you to save until a wedding, etc.

I know the divorce rate is high, but most women still want to get married which is why I am asking the question.

Who would even want a mail order bride though? Off the bat she only marrying you for your money and to get out of her situation. Thats just a recipe for disaster.

I'm saving up for one, the ones who come from poor place are mainly the asian countries, if I do get an asian one I'm going to help out her family, maybe build them a nice place or give them tickets to the states so they can get on their feet. But I might get one from Sweden or Russia :ohlawd:

Why would a woman contribute to the price of her own ring?

I mean you can't even get some women to pay for their own coffee.

:wow:

Maybe the question should of been how would you feel if you were asked to contribute.

Of course I would, at least he's making the decision to spend the rest of his life with me so I wouldn't mind going half or hell buying it myself depending on our financial situations.

This sounds reasonable. I'm asking this question because every woman that called in said they would leave their man if he asked her to contribute. He had to of been screening the calls because that is just unreal.

Real talk, I have a friend who told me she had to pay for her own ring. Basically her and her former fiancé went to go pick out an engagement ring, and her fiancé never paid the thing off. She told me she had to pay off more than half of the damn ring her self :deadmanny:

They are no longer engaged, but she still carries the ring in her purse, because she says she paid too much towards it:heh:

Well like I said it really depends on our situations. If we're both in decent jobs but not making enough to buy an expensive ring, then yeah.

I wouldn't care, honestly.

I'd just be like "ok, whatever".
