There's a scene in A Few Good Men where Kevin Bacon intends to call to the stand every soldier at Guantanamo Bay to testify that Kiefer Sutherland's character told them all not to touch "Private Santiago".
Tom Cruise was willing to stipulate that all the soldiers would testify that they were told not to touch Santiago...as long as Kevin Bacon was willing to acknowledge that none of those soldiers were in Dawson's room after.

The point being...

Men will probably acknowledge that women's lives aren't miserable and over after age 30, if you will acknowledge that whatever few hundred or thousand pictures you post doesn't even amount to a significant percentage to make any sweeping generalizations about the realities of marriage after 30.

In other words...

All these pictures and stories still amounts to a small sample size, but let's agree that happiness does exist after 30.

Well that wasn't really the point the thread. These women may or may not be happy. The point was to show the types of men that women will have to settle for after a certain age. These photos certainly cannot be generalized and I stated multiple times that I'm not trying generalize anything. This thread was used to show examples. I'm sure there are hundreds and thousands if people who are getting married who were not feature just like there are hundreds and thousands of people who aren't getting married period.

I just think women should make informed decisions since they can dictate the age that they will for sure be married.

I will say that I enjoy talking with you on the coli. We don't necessarily agree about everything but you seem like a cool and reasonable person.

Decent thread. Marriage prospects go down the drain once a woman hits 27-ish but all hope is not lost. Remember: we're all individuals and we are only with ONE PERSON at one out of millions of people. The odds are ever in your favor.

That aside, I'm looking at who starred this thread and it seems like every verified cac on the forum one-starred it. What the fukk?
