You twisting my words ,I said pay "tip" after you pay a bill if you choose to leave a waiter or waitress a tip.Seems like a nice gesture right

I would only pay half if was agreed before hand or it was an impromptu small date like coffee or something.

I recently had a "first" more official outing with a guy where I got dinner and he got dessert, but he didn't like it. So he paid the bill but was pissed the dessert was on there so he didn't tip him. So I paid the tip. Then he was upset how much I was tipping him lmao. Smh.

It's been a long time since I've had a first date, but I've offered to pay the tip in the past. Most of the guys said no but seemed appreciative. I will be honest and admit it was game though. Of course I was willing to pay the tip as a thank you, but offered more so because I knew it would win me points.
I'm not paying for the half of the first date though (especially if I didn't ask you out).

Never had to do that with any chick I've been with for any real time cause they just want to chill with you and don't mind paying for stuff either cause they know its coming back. Most people just food bandits nowadays anyway but I'm glad I haven't had that happen to me yet. I'd never say never just because then that's when I'd get caught up lol.i dont mind paying thats just me

I'm just like hey we on a date i'll pay no need for shyt to be all awkward if i got it cover or she covers it. what generally happens if their is a 2nd date the person who paid the 1st time doesnt pay the 2nd time when it has happened too me cuz of the enjoyment they had with me
i just think sometimes we make it too much of a big deal than what it is at the same time i never had bad experience like others have so i can see why they do make it a big deal
if date gonna act up right off the bat i would just
that shyt with the quickness with respect and go home not gonna waste my time with her. i'll just pick up some food on the way home instead and watch a damn movie in peace
It depends, if we agreed to go to a specific special place, thats glitzy and pricey then we split the bill accordingly, but if its a special date and you asked me, i'll put my wallet in my purse to tip the waiter maybe, but otherwise you pay 
then say that you don't like to pay others to make food for you and that you would prefer to do something else. if you want a man to pay for you, you are a prostitute
