men were able to walk out of HIGHSCHOOl, get a job as the sole breadwinner be married with 2 kids own a house and a car just 50 years ago! now when you spend 40k on a degree and want to afford rent you are called GREEDY!
A lot of those STEM people sabotaged other professions from making good money and killed unions, just so more people can go to traumatizing STEM majors and low ball them on the pay scale. They keep moving goalposts and keep adding rigorous requirements like knowing the "right" people, go through internships that make them work for free or minimum wage, and even declare that the wealth gap is "normal".
They ruined the economy, and they don't deserve forgiveness.

Whenever companies say they can't find talent...they really mean "We can't find talent at the price we want." They don't want to pay 100k+ for any one particular person, so this campaign has resulted in the market getting flooded.
I talk to random cashiers and they talk about how they want to get into coding and stem and how they're saving or a bootcamp or plan on taking some online course. It's pretty crazy actually, because the market has been advertised as a high-paying one that doesn't require the credentials of a doctor or dentist or lawyer or anything else.
The result is a flood of people acquiring these stem degrees who don't care about the field itself, and struggle to deal with problems outside of the basics of what might be a textbook yet still look good enough on paper to successfully crowd the market and keep salaries lower.

Cybersecurity has been a top buzzword or the past decade, that problem will exist soon. It hasn't happened immediately because cybersecurity isn't an entry level career field, so there's going to be a delayCybersecurity breh...aint never had that problem

I know you aint post a screenshot of some musty indians flooding your inbox with fake jobsI've been the main poster on here telling nikkas to get into tech and I've never mentioned get a tech degree. I've always said get tech certs.
And while y'all nikkas are wasting time, my inbox and voicemail is still flooded with positions paying from $50-150/hr.

It is, my cousin got her 1st Jr developer job a few months ago and started out making 75k. She had a BS degree in HR before getting into tech.
A few years ago the cloud explosion happened and now there's hundreds of thousands of jobs for people who know AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Right now the AI explosion is happening and there's gonna be hundreds of thousands of new jobs for people familiar with working neural networks.
Stop wasting time, learn a tech skill, and get paid. Not really sure what else to tell y'all nikkas

Look up how much UX roles pay and make your decision from there.
And you earn based on your competency. So if you don’t want to learn high paying skills don’t expect to make a high paying income.
