Is that stuff Ira if talking about Winslow on the radio right now true?

He's on the Hannan Crowder show Now talking the trade. Something about "Duke elitist" about Winslow. I'm not sure I'm buying this. Just doesn't strike me as the type. Does It's have s history of telling stories?

I'm not sure I like Oladipo. But would be cool even tho I don't care for his game like that.

It would be the Nigerian big 3
  1. Bam Adebayo
  2. Victor Oladipo
  3. Giannis ...I ain't spelling his name
Id be ready for another "not 1, not 2, not 3..." Speech :pachaha:

Lemongrass, cherries, alkaline water
Riley was looking flabby and sick for a while but it looks like he got his passion back:wow:.....prolly looked in the mirror one restless night and seen a man he didn't recognize anymore.

"Pat. You gave Dion waiters 52 million"

Players and execs seem to respect the move and the Heat chose Herro and Bam when they wasn’t on my radar so...:yeshrug:

Iggy is 36 years old, hasn’t played all season, and averaged a whopping 5.7/4/4 last year so I’m not holding my breath that he’s a difference maker for us.

I don’t know much about Jae outside of his three ball looks broken like Winslow but he has Herro confidence.

winslow looked a lil snobbish but never heard any locker room stuff. Only the rumor that he was stretching out his injury to avoid a trade which i guess is somewhat true with his passive aggressive ig posts. Lets see if it motivates him to go at us harder and finally break out

Nah we were rocking with the team through 16 win seasons. This fanbase has handled much adversity. But signing Dion waiters when nobody else even wanted him was .....Riley definitely lost his groove after LeBron treated him like a side ho. Went to the media talking crazy reckless about LeBron on some :mjpls: shyt. Then he started making horrible moves cause he was desperate to get payback. Then after the Cavs won Pat had to swallow his pride and admit Bron made the right choice to leave. Smh. And let's not even forget how he did D Wade dirty just because he was mad Wade remained friends with LeBron. Dude let d wade walk only to give that money to Tyler johnson's wack ass :mjlol:....Then once AGAIN Pat had to swallow his pride and admit he was wrong for how he handled the d wade situation. Pat was high key embarrassing himself out here. And all because he was still holding a grudge over LeBron. shyt was sad.

But ay. Every man goes through a funk. Even the greats aren't immune. But Pat got his fire back and erased the mistakes he made. That's all that matters. The heat future is looking bright again.

He gonna drop 50 points on us just like J-Rich lit us up for 30

Nah but for real I never heard that about him which had me wondering . I mean I don't think It's meant it as a elitist among his teammates necessarily. But Ira did say that some (perhaps coaches) felt Winslow had a bit of a sense of entitlement as if he should have been THE MAN on the team when Wade left. If that's true I guess the coach Krzyzewski's Wade comparison must have gone to his head.

I don't know if they have the shows replays online but look it up and just listen to the 15 minutes It's was on.

Note : I say coaches but I think Ira said the front office

well remember in the offseason he had said the starting PG spot was his before summer camp even started so that quote stuck out to me. Dion flipped out externally while winslow probably internalized it after his injury when he was sent to the bench

Possible. But he still does not strike me as the type tho. But I guess you never know. I'm gonna listen to Ethan's podcast tomorrow to see if he says anything similar but Winslow always struck me as the ultimate team dude.

Edit : I listened to Ethan's 5 on the floor podcast and Ethan pretty much confirmed some of it. Winslow was a bit entitled and felt he should have been handed the keys to the franchise with DWade gone. Thus why Riley joked "No more Duke guys" when he drafted Herro.

So the "Duke elitist" thing with Winslow is real. Listen to Ethan's podcast entitled "emergency podcast: Winslow traded". That specific topic is discussed a little after the 6:00 minute Mark

Podcast. So Long, Justise Winslow. Hello, Andre Iguodala (& Danilo Gallinari?)

Would be hilarious getting another Wade disciple in Oladipo to join Jimmy, but Giannis gotta be target number 1

How well they perform in the playoffs this post season will determine alot. Alot of people think only the Bucks and maybe the Celtics can beat the Heat in the 7 game series out east this year. So i think it's important that they make at least the conference finals in order to attract Giannis. Miami is attractive location to free agents so they'll get somebody good regardless, but Giannis is thinking about legacy, is going to go a place where he can win a chip.

He's the ultimate competitor, and he was doing what competitors do. Most of us understood that. All the guys that was in here shytting on Riley the last 5 years (not saying you specifically) can't even give him his props, ingrates.

@Makavalli

I still don't know what to make of this shyt since I never knew this was going on with Winslow and the perception the front office had of him as a "Duke elitist". But all the stuff these podcasters and columnists are talking about ...there are crumbs of it out there.:lupe: Supposedly the Front office had 2 issues with Winslow:
  1. He doesnt play through minor pain or injury. I know someone in here mentioned this before. Think it was Prime.
  2. He supposedly has this attitude about him about not wanting to be a 3rd or 4th option. Apparently he felt they should have handed him the keys to the kingdom once Wade and Bosh were gone. Not sure i buy this one but there were signs of SOME issues.

Like apparently this comment was more about Winslow than a shot at Duke according to some
Riley continued. It's not a coincidence that we're drafting all Kentucky players. Getting rid of the Duke concept. So, that’s enough of that.

Either way this may have been the front office's perspective but I don't think it's the same among players because his teammates seemed to like the guy.

Also, I get the whole Heat culture thing of playing hurt but Riley has to be careful so that he doesnt get the reputation of pushing/pressuring players to play through injury. That's not a good look when you're trying to attract free agents.
