Winslow and dragic together coming off the bench wasn’t going to work. They just don’t play well together.
Nunn pretty much pushed Winslow off the roster with his play. I’ve always preferred Winslow over Nunn as the starting pg because of his ceiling but even I had to eventually take the L there when Winslow struggled to come back from the injury.
The iggy trade was needed. You gotta have guys who can defend with a high bballl IQ in the playoffs. If DJJ continues to improve, and the gallonari trade goes through, we’ll have a solid death line up against teams like the Celtics who are perimeter oriented.
- Nunn is not a point guard. Never has and never will be. He may guard the opposing team's smallest player (usually PG) but a PG he is not.
- This trade wasnt "needed" but i see what Riley is thinking (tho i question how in shape Iggy is). This move is all about cap-space and having a wing defender that's available NOW.
