I can’t wait til Jimmy and Dion get into a fight. It’s bound to happen.
Wish discord and animosity among teammates on your team, brehs :beli:
Never wish such thing among teammates on your team, breh. Players on teams have FRIENDS on the team. Said friends will sometimes feel the need to take sides. Remember the whole sage with Tim Hardaway and Mashburn? i think Askins explained that the lockeroom was partly divided with some people being Timmy guys and some being Mashburn guys.
On a team with so much youth you DO NOT want that with all these young impressionable young players. :mindblown:
Let dion start just to keep him calm and motivated but yank him if he do any dumb shyt. Herro 1st option off the bench gives us another weapon and can keep the starters fresh cause he can hold a lead or go on a run.
I could see this happening but Jimmy and Butler have very similar games. It's almost like having Bustise and James Johnson playing together, IMO. Certain level of redundancy there. I'd rather not have them together on the floor together for long stretches.
Bam looking good.
Bam has so much potential but until he can consistently hit these little 10 ft jumpers near the paint i'm afraid his offensive game will be exposed. Dude had a couple of plays last night where hejust popped out from under the basket and they passed it to him and he threw up awful shots. I dont recall his form looking that bad. It looked like he was heaving it at the basket from midcourt but he was about 8-10 feet away. He needs to develop that Haslem-range jumper from 10-12 ft quick. If he does no doubt he can reach all-star level with his athleticism and fundamentals

Dont let hassan see this shyt :lolbron:
We'll miss his rim protection most definitely. I was scared thinking we'd sorely miss his rebounding but so far we've looked decent in the board.

We may also have trouble defending small quick point-guardS tho with Bustise and Dragiç at PG. Which will put more pressure on Bam to defend the pick and role and protect the rim

I'll agree Bustise ain't a total 'Bust' but plenty of busts get 2nd contracts. See Darko Milicic, Joe Smith.

Being a bust to me means not living up to expectations of your draft hype and/or position . Unless your career gets detailed by injury (see Jay Williams)

To me Bustise is a decent average player so far who just never(so far) lived up to the hype and expectations from when he came out of college and that's the sense in which people call him' Bustise'. And it's not his fault that people had such high expectations but it is what it is. Many believed he'd be a star in the NBA and while He never came close to that, he is a decent player who plays hard and that's all he can control on his end. And in their defense bit the team and local media did preach "patience" to let him develop since he was only 19.

So while I agree he's a decent player he is a bust based on his draft hype since we had people in here talking about 'he'll be a star. Book it' and teams rumored to be willing to give up multiple(4) 1st round draft picks for him. Ask both said posters and said teams if they'd be willing to say the same thing or even close to it now and you'd get a resounding NO. At best we could get a 2nd round pick for him at this stage.

that aint how it works. Yall were the same cats calling Sekou Oompadobuya the next Giannis just because he's long with a foreign last name. Yall (the usual Winslow detractors on this board) cant evaluate talent, as I have long said.

Doggy, i dont even know who that is? I have never seen/read/heard that name before IN MY LIFE :heh:
Is that a real NBA player or are you making it up as an example of people who often see similarities in players physical traits and assume they got similar games?

Schedule looking soso for October. We need a good start. I'd say 5-1 or 4-2 for the rest of the month of October isnt asking for too much while they gel. I cant make a prediction on this season yet. Too many new faces. Tempted to say 43-39 until i see how well our bench plays , JJ and Olynyk come back, and Spo reveals the new wrinkles in the offense.

Probably good idea to rest Jimmy, Goran, Winslow and others the last 2 preseason games.
