Justise and Jimmy are in each other’s heads. Justise has great vision and decision making so when yoga surround him a little space and a star that pushes the pace, his skills are starting to show. Those weren’t all just basic passes but a lot of little things and consistently solid decision making. That one pass he made up court to Bam without dribbling it was a straight up vet decision when you remember that he’s been pushing the pace, with his dribble, for the last couple of transition buckets so that second of hesitation in the defense got Bam an easy dunk because of that game management skill.

Butler is exactly what we were missing and you can tell dude was chilling his first few games to let the other guys get comfortable. We straight up lose this game last year and it’s a win this year.

I am loving this team right now.

Oh, Okpala was a great find too. Even in his very limited minutes, kid is showing an effortless midrange scoring skill set. He’s creating against bigger, stronger players IN THE ISOLATION and it’s not even plays ran for him. They give him the bell and he straight up creates for himself.

He’s gonna breakout in like two years.

Herro gonna be a star this year. Dude would be the talk of the preseason if it wasn’t for Zion and I think he’ll be one of the cats getting ROY nods. Dude so good that Jimmy trusts him as the best bailout option and consistently looks to get him the ball when they on the court together.

I think he solidified his argument for starting pg with this game

:ehh:
He has definitely found his position

Despite never liking Winslow's offensive game I've always said he has great court vision.

That was the good and bad part from the time I first saw him in summer league his rookie season. While I felt he had great court vision I felt he was deferring too much to a bunch of d-leaguers playing with him at the time. I now understand he just didn't have confidence in his offense at the time.

But since his second year I been saying he needs the ball in his hands to be at his most effective game on offense

He's the young player I'm most excited about seeing develop on this team side from Bam Adebayo.

I had a good feeling about the pick after seeing his college highlights and I really liked his game but based on several scouting reports I read his offense needs work to be as effective at the NBA level and many expect him to be a D-leaguer his first year.

I'm willing to wait since we've déveloped some decent players before like DJJ and TJ. I feel like he can be another DJJ but with better handles. I hope he gets in the gym so we can trot him out there as a 3 or 4 as needed

is that a cheerleader because I know you arent talking about Jaylen

He quietly still has no jumper
If you are talking about Adebayo then yes he needs to work on that elbow jumper badly. Sometimes I feel like he rushes it in shoots it like it's a half-court heave at the basket.

As far as KZ Okpala goes looking at his highlights he seems like he has a bit of a three-point range that's on and off but needs a lot of work on his mid-range J

I think Winslow is just a playmaker, at heart. He is a natural game manager and high IQ player. Stop calling that man a bust.

Keyword DEVELOP.

Tyler Herro seems like he'll be a very good player already and I can already say being an All Star is very possible as he grows. Worst case scenario (his floor) is he's another Mike Miller. but still, we already have a pretty good idea of what he'll bring to the table.

I just feel like we haven't even scratched the surface of what what Bam can be nor what we even have in Okpala.

As far as Bustise goes, he CAN continue to add new wrinkles to his game since he's still young and has such a high ceiling. Let's see how this season goes. I always said Josh Richardson was better than Bustise (at the time) but Bustise has a much higher ceiling than Josh Richardson. That's been my position as long as i've criticized Winslow. Look it up.

We already know what Josh is and he is what he is at this point: Probably never an all-star but solid player nevertheless. Bustise CAN reach all-star level as he further develops his game but he's still (as of last season) a long way fromall-star hopeful or the "star" some thought he'd be. And I don't think Mike Krzyzewski (sp) did him any favors saying he'd be the next D-Wade who's arguably the 2nd best SG I've seen play behind only Jordan.
