LA/Inglewood brehs, recommend some nice spots (UPDATE: WENT TO YALLS RECOMMENDATIONS)

Naw, I'm not from there, but I lived in LA a while ago and I learned enough to tell people to do crazy shyt that they shouldn't think about doing.

Meh, of the various spots you can hemmed up in LA our hood wasn't the worst. Unless you're walking down in the Bottoms or shyt where you have no need to be I rarely saw a Blood go out of his way to fukk with a stranger in a public place unless they were already plotting trouble, even if you have the wrong colors on. Explicitly having a flag or a cap is pushing it too far of course, but there are tons of other places where that's true.

I get what you're saying but my experience is being banged on twice. Granted, I was over there several times with no issues but the place where you have any altercation or potential altercation your antennas are up in that area. Inglewood is one of those areas for me.

The woodurban kitchen on market is little bar restaurant.District on Crenshaw. Foundation in K town.

Yeah this spot is cool. The homie owns it. If you like Caribbean food/music and vibes they have theme days.

Hawkins is a glorified version of Tams breh. Moms Burgers on Alondra was tap dancin on em before the pandemic.

Not a fan at all. Plus its across from Nickersons.

FYI: Its a lot of authentic Jamaican food in Inglewood. Lee's and Country Style

Louisiana got the best fried chicken in the city, that's facts. It's the one thing I have missed since moving out of the hood and working out regularly. Popeyes, KFC, Wingstop, none of them places taste as good as the Half Dinner with fries.

OP, if you looking for places to eat, Roscoe's right next to the freeway is legitimate. Chicken and Waffles, but they have a legit soul food menu, from cornbread to newer shyt like the chili cheese chicken fries.

Woody's BBQ is a classic joint too.

If you go up a little on La Brea, you can find a Jamaican Jerk Chicken spot as well.


You could also hit up Fox Hills Mall, which is a little north of Inglewood, but not far at all (something like 10 minutes depending on traffic). Shopping, Food Courts, the works.

The one on Beach and Centinela has the BIG Jumbo shrimp that the other locations lack, friend.

Haven’t found an equivalent in ATL that comes close.

Not a far drive from LAX either

Unfortunately, their seafood gumbo is trash. Stevie’s Creole Cafe has arguably the best seafood gumbo, friend.
