I know I said before the trade that Giannis would be the MVP this year. But now given this trade, it has changed everything. Kyrie is gonna shut up all the haters this year. Boston will win 55+ games and get the #1 seed in the East. Kyrie will lead the league in scoring. And he will win the MVP.

Boston will also beat Cleveland in the Eastern Conference Finals and play Golden State for the championship.

OP with another prediction.

:ehh:

And no one can even say it's a longshot at this point in time.

they traded away their best long term asset in Wiggins. sorry but unless they trade kyrie and/or love they won't be winning a title.
Not only were you wrong with this, but you were shytting on Kyrie in the process.

no we didn't. kyrie woulda been horrible to have alongside wiggins. that nikka thinks he deserves the ball ahead of lebron. you really think he woulda gave young wiggins any shine?

andrew wiggins won by getting traded to minnesota and having his own team to grow with.
Didn't you say just the other day that Kyrie was the alpha of the Cavs, carried the team, and was the main reason why the Cavs won a title?

like i said kyrie and kevin love ain't that good. bron gonna opt out after this season and head back to south beach.
Like you said? So you've repeatedly said Kyrie ain't that good, and that LeBron should leave him?

I'd simply take the chance on the unknown that what I already know about Kyrie. I concede that I have no good reason to think LaVine will be a better defender. He is taller and has better athleticism but who knows. I'm simply a dude who has zero belief in Kyrie Irving as a centerpiece of my team. And thats what giving him a max deal means. Your saying this is the guy we're building around. I'd rather let Kyrie walk for nothing than give him a max deal.

i don't remember kyrie coming out in 2011 so i don't know who i'd take. the gms would probably take kyrie. i don't care. i'm not a believer in kyrie irving. he plays zero defense. isn't really a pg and has zero passing insticts. dude is simply a more talented mo williams. if i had a lebron on my team, i'd take kyrie. but i'd never make him my centerpiece.
Didn't you just say Kyrie was your nikka back in 2011, then why are you saying in this post that you don't remember Kyrie coming out in 2011? Why are you saying you've always been a fan of his, when in this post you're saying you're not a believer in him, and would never make him a centerpiece?

I like Kyrie but not over Wiggins or LaVine. I stand behind everything I said about him vis-a-vis LaVine and Wiggins.

Those guys are more talented.

No
Nobody has fought in more battles FOR Kyrie than I have on this board.

:camby:

That's facts. I get tired of all the evidence in his favor being ignored or credited to Bron. It's the most blatantly petty agenda shyt on ANY basketball board. Muhfukkka 25 been to 3 finals, got a ring, gold medal, AS MVP, ROY, FIBA MVP, perennial AS, USA POY, 3 point champ....and i gotta sit here debate if he better than some damn Kemba and Mike Conley?

I'm done with the day to day Kyrie shyt. Good luck, bro.

My MVP doing MVP things tonight.

As long as the Celtics have the best record in the NBA, Kyrie Irving will be your 2017-18 NBA MVP.

Don't see that happening.

21/6/3 on 44% shooting and 34% from 3 before tonight as well.

He would need to put up Steph 2015 type #s. Low key he's the one who might win MVP again.

If the Celtics win 65+ games, Kyrie will win it.

Plus those numbers should improve. Kyrie's shooting was off to start the year. He's now finding a rhythm.
