3 things...

1. Goku never blew up any planet himself

2. The Planet that Vegeta blew up on the anime before he made it to earth was FILLER. That never happened in the original Dragonball Z manga and was only specifically made as filler for the cartoon. Basically that means it is not canon.

3. Nobody in Dragonball Z history EVER blew up a planet with physical strength. Every single time it was through some energy blast of some sort. Because nobody in DBZ actually destroyed a planet with punches, there is no reason to believe they could do it. We HAVE seen Superman physically destroy planets, however. What this means is on a purely physical or punching basis, Superman is proven to hit a lot harder than Goku or anyone in DBZ.

What all this means is that Goku can probably pack more power in his blasts, but he isn't hitting harder than Superman

:what: So the DBZ cartoon is non-canon now?

:snoop:

I'm done with you niccas man.

The manga (comic book the cartoon was based on) trumps the anime.

However, even if you count it, how would this apply to Goku or any other Sayjin other than Vegeta?

No no no you're right it doesn't count.

Forget the fact that much weaker beings displayed that level of strength, Goku and Vegeta never did it in the original manga which means they could not do it, clearly.

Have you ever read a manga before?

If so, you know that the cartoons/animes often include much filler that is unrelated and sometimes contridicts what the manga (the book the cartoons are based on) says.

With all that said, what is your point?

No Sayjin or any DBZ character has ever destroyed a planet physically, whereas Superman has. By that logic, you can conclude Superman is probably hitting harder than Goku or any sayjin. However the Sayjins might have stronger energy blasts.

could chi energy be considered magic?

Only when we're not in a vs. superman thread. In this thread, chi energy is basically the same wavelength as the earth's yellow sun, and would only make Superman stronger.

Breh, I'm agreeing with you. It never happened in the original manga ergo it never happened and cannot happen despite the fact that we've seen weaker beings pull off that very same feat.

No.

Most specifically because in DBZ there are actually magical fighters that fought against Goku and the like that used energy and power from a different source that Goku and the rest were unfamiliar with.

Its an iffy line, but not one I would argue for because magic seemed as foreign to Goku as it normally does to Superman.

So we gone ignore that vegeta was gone blow planet earth himself after the beatdown but goku stopped him? :mjpls:

We gone ignore that a physical punch is the only means of doing major damage that sups got bc he ain't got energy manipulation beside that weak ass eye laser? :mjpls:

Not at all.

I understand that you ignore the contradictions of the decades of Superman comics as long as it means Superman comes out on top, while focusing hard on the contradictions of the manga vs the anime of DBZ. But it's all good.
