Markkanen was always better :manny:

When Wristflaps was with the Knicks, Lauri would always light him up. Back then you could use the excuse that Markkanen's defense was trash, but now Wristflaps can't even move his feet on defense at all so that's over.
Even this year KP has a superior stat line and 20, 8 and 1.6 blocks vs 19 and 6 and 0.4 blocks. While KP's defense is diminished he is still blocking more shots than this guy by a lot and Markkanen is hurt again.

Their 2P% and 3P%

Lauri .655 .396
KP .550. .352

And Wristflaps is still trying not to play center, scared to get bullied by 5s.

Philly bouls, Trust the Process
His fragile ass is a liability
His injuries are scary, but his ability to camp out at the 3PT line is a key part of what makes their offense work. Having a center who's a threat sitting out there lets them run 5-out and gives Luka all the space in the world.

That being said, there may be a cheaper way to fill that role

I must admit as a cavs fan I don't want him seems like he will just end up being an injury prone bum on the bench like Love....I'm not sure teams see him as that valuable he looks like he has slowed down on defense which to me was his main unicorn ability 7'3 dude who can shoot the 3 and protect the weak side of the rim...and on top of that he doesn't even rebound at a good clip...

Could he transition to being a fulltime center?

What's the best landing spot for dude? I think the Clips could use a big guy who stretches the floor. Not sure they can fit him in their cap.
