@ all the brehs standing up for Krillin in this thread 
They hate Krillin for smashing the remote, but they're cool with Goku and Vegeta putting EVERYONE'S lives at risk for the sake of a good fight.
Never mind the fact that Krillin wasn't an overpowered alien or an android-- he was just a regular dude that fought to hold it down on the front lines against the Saiyans and on Namek.
What other Z fighter you know touched down on an alien planet rocking a Capsule Corp starter jacket and a fresh fitted with his own name on it?
On a real note thought, Dragonball's peak really began with the 22nd Tenkaichi Budokai and ended with Frieza. The Cell saga introduced a lot of dope characters and fights (Future Trunks 
), but that's where the whole storyline started hinging almost entirely on the heroes making bad decisions. And don't even get me started on the Buu saga

Nah...Goku is an insanely stupid character...he's probably the dumbest main character in any form of popular media
All he does fight...he never really grows up to be responsible for anything...
He's the main reason why the Universe is in danger...
He's the main reason why his friends are constantly in danger...

Then he's mainly used a plot device..so his power is constantly increasing but his responsibility and maturity doesn't...because if Goku was responsible and mature...there never would be a show...
He's a shytty character...I don't see how anybody can like him...once you become old enough and realize how stupid and selfish he is...
He got the mind of a 12 year old and is probably the most powerful character on the show...and no responsibility...like there is no dramatic gravitas to the character...you already know he's gonna get strong enough to beat whoever he needs to beat...and if anybody dies...they are gonna comeback and the only reason why he is fighting is because he wants to fight people...
Goku is such a hedonistic and nihilistic character but he's that way because he's stupid...his philosophy is get strong and fight and it's no deeper than that
The best characters and storyline post Dragon Ball is Future Trunks and Gohan...
