They need to trade some players to get an additional first round pick to make sure that they don't end up with some shytty draft position, he's playing well enough to threaten making the playoffs which is honestly the last thing the Knicks should do this year.


With his play this year he's the best player from the 2015 draft, he's so much better defensively than KAT and now that the gap between them on offense is gone there's no reason to take Towns over him.
