Despite who dapped you, and your general decent posting, I gotta come clean with you breh. YOU'RE A HUGE PART OF THE PROBLEM! Now do I mean someone who supports Haymon? Of course not all respect due to good Brother Al. However, this is BOXING, a sport. Boxer X making 72MM doesn't make him better than boxer Y making 250k. It literally has nothing to do with BOXING, inside the ring. So when you make posts like this can you preface you won't actually be talking about boxing the sport, but the business? PBC made not only the fighters but the networks (cbs..espn...showtime..spike..nbc) an offer they couldn't refuse
Haymon didn't sit thier with his hands out like most promoters asking the Networks to buy the television rights to it's fights'...
nah Haymon put up his own money buy purchasing air time on the various networks seeking only exposure and ad revenue on the back end..

i as a 41 year old man has been a fan of the sport of boxing LONG before i professed my love for "hiphop"...
my pops fought in a Job Corp boxing league in the 70s ...watched him pound it out on many occasions ... and he was nice
so nice that he influenced my older cousin a golden gloves champ whom my pops took in after his mom went thru a drug problem..
that same cousin YOU and MANY others have watched fight on HBO, ESPN..USA back in the 90s was my "icon" and enabled me to witness the INSIDE OF THE RING to see great ones like Buddy Mcgirt...Mark Breland ...and Iran Barkley..........
so trust me breh.......i KNOW BOXING AND I LOVE A GOOD MATCH just like any boxing enthusiast....cause i've been to many..
but i also witnessed based on many occasions the EXPLOITIVE SITUATIONS my cousin faced in a sport with little to none regulations....
my cousin's first manager ROBBED him without a gun on many occasions....
so to see a figure like AL HAYMON come in the game and make good on his promise to compensate FIGHTERS for the risk they taking in the RING....
I MAKE NO APOLOGIES FOR MY ADMIRATION FOR HIS "BUSINESS MODEL"...
And that's all it is ..and that's all it has EVER BEEN......a BUSINESS!!!!!!!!...
These fighters AIN'T GLADIATORS getting in the ring for simply HONOR....these are PRIZEFIGHTERS for christ sake!!

My issues with Haymon at the beginning of PBC were always the shyt matchups.....and while that's been resolved ( except for fukkin Adonis) it's forced its competitors to FINALLY think outside the box ( Top Rank & Golden Boy) and get the halfassed companies to be marginalized ( HBO).
If a fighter in 2017 with all the lawyers and info out there knowingly sign a shytty deal ( Kovalev) and fraud wasn't involved fukk em....that's on them. That's why all props to Floyd for exploiting the system.
