nah, I just thought it was an awkward comparison. and I think it misrepresents the 'jump'. it's kinda insinuates xbox 720 games will have significantly better graphics than Crysis on (a capable) PC. now that might not seem like a big deal if you consider Crysis is from 2007, but the counter-intuitive thing is that og Crysis still has some of the best graphics seen on the PC. to this day no single gpu can average 60fps with everything turned up (only 4xAA btw):

in other words, the 'jump' will be more like going from Halo 3/4 to Crysis. but I guess that's not as sexy as insinuating what's basically a 2 generation leap

so basically Microsoft is gonna give out install keys like PC games. always require your console to be online to play and once the disc is installed its disposable?

the only way running multiple games at the same time works is if the disc isn't required.

I'd advise you to stop trying to figure this out Winb. They didnt say all or even close to what you said. It says the games will install while you play them. It didn't say anything about not needing a game in the tray.
Now if that isn't needed anymore? It could mean no used games.. we'll see about that. If there is no used games, then that would be ONE of the few benefits. No longer needing to swap, I like that idea
But I want both options. And the more likely scenario is we will have both options

Then the reason why you have to always be online is because the game (disc) will be registered online at that time. That way, I can't share a game with 10ppl (basically each game will have its own gamertag so you can't sign in twice at once)

I would need to be online, i would need to pay extra for online, and i would need to keep a camera( Kinect) on in my living,bed, etc. WTF are they trying to do here? Lock out people without internet, makes you pay for shyt that you already paid for(Netflix,Internet,etc), and Invasion of privacy.

Only reason Sony survived is because of the RROD issue.

I bought PSOne, PS2.....then 360. It died, so I got a PS3.

But if the new XBOX is price better and has no issues like RROD, I'm gonna probably go that route.

And Kinnect is cool on football games breh. You can call audibles.....audibly.

This right here. I rock with the Xbox and all that. But if half of this shyt is true, I will absolutely pass on it. Things like "needed internet" and "always on camera" as well as one game per console is completely ridiculous. Even the hardest fan who supports shyt like this has to be odd. This goes for either system too. of course before we jump to conclusions, let us wait to actually see what is what.

this actually seems pretty horrible. Especially the mandatory camera and mic connectivity. Whoever is running the XBOX dept needs his or her ass kicked! How could they ruin such a perfect console that is the 360!

I don't see a problem wit a mandatory camera and mic at all, im on a mic anyway when I turn my Xbox on, Kinect will enhance games greatly imo, it will make thing much more streamlined and we won't be pressing buttons for alot of things we did this Gen, we will be giving order, I can see this being a hugh factor on sports games and games like splinter cell, or wars games, take mag, the developers didn't do a good job creating this game but the concept was great, I can see it be a big feature in games like that, same wit games like ghost recon, I dont think I would ever buy a game made totally around Kinect, but I think it can enhance a bunch of games, like I can see it doing facetracking where u won't have to upload pictures to put yourself in a game, cause the Kinect can upload what u wearing everyday into the game and recreate u in the game if you want to daily, I thin of a open world game and its really you running around wit the exact close u have on, I would like Xbox to have feature built into the game where u can basically record stuff in any game and have a upload button to upload to YouTube
