I thought this was trash outside of the last fight.

Comic relief was wack, deaths wack, 95% of dialogue was trash, INDIGENOUS PEOPLE, monsters were meh, most of the action was plain dumb (I almost walked out at the graveyard scene), horrendous and hamfisted cinematography - its like fake ass Michael Bay and fake ass Quentin Tarantino had a baby and it inherited a blank check. Almost reminded me of the shytty Hulk movie with how they tried to comic frame damn near every shot.

I never walk out of movies, but goddamn this brought me close. I caught the matinee and all the senior citizens behind me were snoozing by the end. "Action", until the final fight, was sci-fi original movie tier.

And its long as fuuuuuuuuck

why

Its like they thought Pacific Rim was easy and effortless and tried to jack the style. No. fukk I'm still mad lol
What was your gripe with the indigenous people?:what:

Honestly though how did you nerds not fukking enjoy this film? the cinematography was fire, and it was really entertaining. It's not fukking perfect but I don't see how you could possibly do any better with the premise. I thought the music was good as well.

There was an older black dude sitting in the row in front of me and my friends and about halfway into the movie he literally screams out "THIS IS SO EXCITING!!!!!" it was funny as fukk. me and my friends were cracking up. He was like a kid in a candystore.

Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
Brie Larson cute as fukk idc how anybody else feels bout it. Bout to watch now

name your daughter after a loaf of hard ass bread, breh. LOL

Real talk though, you got guys over analyzing/writing dissertations on why they didn't like a fukkin' pop corn monster flick.

This ain't Gone With The Wind/Citizen Kane you uptight piece of shiit.

I read a couple of testimonials here and i was this close to being turned away from viewin the flick, but my girl was insistent.

Good thing we didn't stray from our original plan.

Movie was entertaining as hell. Enjoyed the directing, acting was good for what it is, cinematography was legit (you really felt the placement of the flick being in the 70's and what not, almost a period piece if you will).

If you came into that movie expecting more than what you saw in trailers... you already fukkin lost. You over analytical douche bin.

Got exactly what i expected from a kong movie...

great monster scenes...disposable characters...

a few posters above said brie looked good in this but all i noticed where all the angles right beneath her chin that highlighted her square head and MASSIVELY STRONG AND MUSCULAR JAWLINE :scusthov:

When her and Tom were next to each other her face just seemed so much more masculine than his :scusthov:

Or maybe the problem is that Tom got them soft ass danty features and makes brie look masculine :jbhmm:

At any rate this movie was to kong what the new godzilla movie was to godzilla...

Thoroughly enjoyed it

The shyt john said about the ants in the trees had me :mjlol: for a good minute:mjlol:

The comic relief was bad and they overdid the "random monster appears" scenes. Otherwise it was very good. The last fight was great, some of the better looking CGI I've seen. I liked all the references to Apocalypse Now also.
