I thought this was trash outside of the last fight.

Comic relief was wack, deaths wack, 95% of dialogue was trash, INDIGENOUS PEOPLE, monsters were meh, most of the action was plain dumb (I almost walked out at the graveyard scene), horrendous and hamfisted cinematography - its like fake ass Michael Bay and fake ass Quentin Tarantino had a baby and it inherited a blank check. Almost reminded me of the shytty Hulk movie with how they tried to comic frame damn near every shot.

I never walk out of movies, but goddamn this brought me close. I caught the matinee and all the senior citizens behind me were snoozing by the end. "Action", until the final fight, was sci-fi original movie tier.

And its long as fuuuuuuuuck

Speaking of Pacific Rim, I wonder if they can fuse that into the Monsterverse.

I would negg you but I ain't into that shyt. Bottom line, Kong was a great fukking movie. That "bytch please" line was unexpected and had the theatre dying.
