I wont guess at the way they will tell the story but John c reily character said Kong was still growing, in other saying Kong is young
Just got back.
Typical blockbuster fluff. All in all it was an alright B movie. Nothing more nothing less
The "characters" were nothing more than thinly written tropes that we've seen a thousand times.
Kong himself was well done.
I didn't care for the skull crawlers. Generic design.
John c reily is hate or love it but I thought he was the only interesting character.
The action scenes were fun and filmed well. Stylistic and over the top.

That movie was too bloated and it had that weird ice skating scene.
This joint is more in the line of the Toho King Kong. Maybe we'll get a Mecha Kong

For what it's worth, besides the Skull Island scenes with Kong, I didn't care that much for King Kong (2005). I much more enjoyed the 1933 movie.i can buy that. if that version was 45 min shorter its top 3 Kong movie. might be already despite. but dawg even the creatures were better and more thought out and the natives were
But like I mentioned before, I see this more of a Toho King Kong revision (Kong vs Godzilla, King Kong Escapes) so I rate it as such. He even fights a giant octopus like the toho Kong
They will meet in current times...they said in K:SI that Kong was young and still growing so he will be fully mature by the time him and Godzilla run into one another.
It just means none of the K:SI cast will be in the team-up movie.
