I'm pretty sure Kobe would have had better numbers had he played against 6'2 slow white boys. Lol at Drexler and Miller being the only HOF SG in Jordan's Era

Dumars is a HOF, and Richmond is a future HOF.

:what:

It only took Jordan 13 years(non-consecutive btw) to win 6 rings, after Jordan and bulls got bodied by the bad boys three straight years before he got his first. Although his sidekick was another great perimeter player in Pippen, MJ had no dominant scoring center to take the scoring load of him when he needed a break.

It took Kobe 14 years to win 5 rings. Had three of those rings laid in his lap as the Robin to Shaq. Got his last two rings with the insurance of two solid post-scoring big men in Bynum/Gasol, which life easier for Kobe than MJ had it.

Even IF Kobe wins #6, MJ's rings are more impressive, cause he won all six as the main man and without dominant/hof post scorers.

Don't ever talk about Kobe having it easier than MJ, you then lost your purple-piss lovin mind.

not to mention...

I mean just look at what Kobe went through his career vs what Michael went through.

:deadrose: Kobe joining a team with a center averaging 26/13/3/3 and going through a lot

:deadrose: Kobe's team going 56-26 with him playing 16 mpg and him going through a lot

:deadrose: Kobe being the 2nd best player on the team until his 9th year in the league and going through a lot.

if MJ was getting "every single call," wouldn't his points off FT's be way higher?

cmon son, its basic logic

No. He could just have disproportionately more points from field goals

Jordan in the playoffs: 34.3 ppg, 48.1 fg %, 6.4 Rebounds, 5.7 assist

Kobe in the playoffs: 25.6 ppg, 44.8 fg %, 5.1 rebounds, 4.7 assist

Also, Jordan played in 179 playoff games and has more steals (376 to be exact) than Kobe who played in 220 playoff games (40 more games), yet only has 310 steals. Jordan also has more 50 point games in the playoffs than Kobe, despite playing 40 LESS games.

:beli:

NBA All-time 50-Point Playoff games. Count how many times Jordan's name appears, then count how many time you see Kobe's name

IN CONCLUSION: Jordan was the better offensive player than Kobe, not only in the regular season, but in the playoffs where it's tougher to score. And Jordan, was a better player on the defensive end, in the regular season and playoffs, compared to Kobe. Kobe had a couple of better offensive outputs in a few regular season games...that's all. OVERALL THE NUMBERS DON'T EVEN fukkING COMPARE!!!!!

Kobe has 1 40 point finals game he scored 40 on the head

Jordan has 6 and jordan played in less finals games and less finals

55,49,45,44,42,41

Scored more points in the finals and playoffs while teams game planned to stop jordan ,while kobe had the luxury of playing with the most dominant C in the nba to draw doubles and triples

The rule change was in 94' you swag less dikkridin misinformed monkey :pacspit:

well technically there were two rule changes, but both just make kobe's numbers look weaker next to MJ's

there was the 94 one then the ones in 1999-2000.

You think they left Kobe open:rudy:. If anything Kobe numbers would have been better without Shaq taking away from his points
