Yes he's had a higher scoring game, but that alone that doesn't settle the argument. The facts are what they are man, not what you want them to be. The fact is that Mike is the more prolific scorer. You're talking about single game performances, not stats. The stats say that mike is the more prolific and efficient scorer. He averages more points and did it at a higher fg percentage. That's a fact that you can't argue with. Those single performances that you're talking about don't outweigh all the other games. Another thing, you talk as if Mike was out there trying to score as many points as he could as opposed to scoring enough to win the game. "He needed OT to reach his career high", as if scoring 60 was the goal. Come on man, smarten up. The stats speak for themselves, Kobe simply is not as explosive of a scorer.
Kobe is a more explosive scorer than Jordan..the stats prove it..Jordan has never had 50 in a half, think about the explosiveness required to do that...in 22 minutes Kobe, scored 55 points...on Jordan's hottest days he never managed to do that, partially because his 3 wasnt as wet as Kobe's was in his prime,,,but then you look at Kobe scoring that 62 in 3 quarters...Jordan needed the whole game to hit 60...stuff like that, shows that when both players are at their pinnacle, Kobe scores more points..
