Jordan in the playoffs: 34.3 ppg, 48.1 fg %, 6.4 Rebounds, 5.7 assist

Kobe in the playoffs: 25.6 ppg, 44.8 fg %, 5.1 rebounds, 4.7 assist

Also, Jordan played in 179 playoff games and has more steals (376 to be exact) than Kobe who played in 220 playoff games (40 more games), yet only has 310 steals. Jordan also has more 50 point games in the playoffs than Kobe, despite playing 40 LESS games.

NBA All-time 50-Point Playoff games. Count how many times Jordan's name appears, then count how many time you see Kobe's name

IN CONCLUSION: Jordan was the better offensive player than Kobe, not only in the regular season, but in the playoffs where it's tougher to score. And Jordan, was a better player on the defensive end, in the regular season and playoffs, compared to Kobe. Kobe had a couple of better offensive outputs in a few regular season games...that's all. Miami had Glen Rice and Steve Smith, both 6'7 (when your dropping 50 in the playoffs, every forward and guard checks you throughout the game)

Phoenix had Dan Marle and Cedric Ceballos both 6'6 and 6'7 respectively.

Washington had Calbert Cheaney at 6'7 checking MJ

Cleveland had Craig Ehlo and Ron Harper both 6'6

Just dispelling the myth that he dropped 50 on short white guys. Do the knowledge!

Lol @ Jordan stans verging off topic once again...nobody asked what this nikka did in the playoffs...

GTFOH !!!!! You talking about in the zone...and you wanna focus on a regular season game against the RAPTORS?!!!!! Obviously...Kobe isn't as explosive as Jordan was in the playoffs and REGULAR SEASON AS WELL.

Kobe top regular season scoring average over an 82 GAME SEASON:
35.4 PPG

Jordan's top regular season scoring average over an 82 game season:
37.1 PPG

Meaning, Jordan was on average more explosive scoring-wise than Kobe...even when you comparing best regular season scoring-out puts.

Go make like the the hoe in your AVI and kill yourself.

The thread title and poll asks two different questions. It had me :ohhh: too. But if you look at what the poll is asking, then playoff scoring is fair game and MJ prevails again. It was a valiant effort though.

You know what it is, Kobe lovers, wanna pick spots where they can make arguments over Jordan....they have tunnel vision, so they pick obscure argument that fit their cause. Instead of looking at the entire picture...Kobe doesn't measure up....at all. Regular season or otherwise. George Gervin, Elgin Baylor, David Robinson, all had better individual scoring outputs in a REGULAR SEASON GAME than Jordan, that does not make them better players than Jordan.
