It's a catch 22 with Kobe's in-the-air passes. A lot of the times, they would be good passes if the person he is looking for just cuts to the basket or move. They all stand still and watch, but that's probably due to them thinking that Kobe is going to shoot. But right before he is getting ready to pass, he looks at the player as if to tell them to cut, but the defense collapses on him. Of course Nash does it all of the time, and has always been hella turnover prone, but players expect him to pass. Nash is being hindered because there are only like 2.5 shooters on the team (Meeks, Kobe, Gasol). Maybe they should do more pick and roll situations with Earl Clark, but Nash needs to shoot more to keep defenses on edge. Let Jamison, Ron Ron and Dwight play clean-up.
Now Dwight is an entirely different problem. i didn't even know that Dwight didn't know how to box out until this season. I guess he was used to just using his athleticism for everything, but since he doesn't have that anymore....His offensive game is TRIZZASH. He can never be mentioned as a great C ever again, he's been demoted under Vlade Divac, Brad Miller, Brad Daugherty, Kevin Willis...
