durant's the best scorer in the league. i don't even know how it's debatable. you wanna give credit for melo for the diversity or aesthetics of his game? fine, that's one thing.

yes, melo is a great scorer but he's not better than durant.

i am not sure Durant is getting double teamed tho.. have caught many OKC game this season..

if he is not.. then melo is probably the best scorer this season...

Kobe is getting one man'd too.. and often by PG.. obviously it will make his scoring go much higher.

When asked who the toughest player in the league is to guard, Pierce said that it was a toss-up between LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony, but that Carmelo has given him the most fits over the years.

Paul Pierce: "Carmelo (Anthony) has given me the most fits" to guard | CelticsLife.com - Boston Celtics Fan Site, Blog, T-shirts

but yet Pierce outplays Melo when they go at it.:leostare:

I think it's more like a 15-20lbs weight difference between them, it would explain why people bounce off LeBron when he goes into the paint, and how hseasonally posted up a 250lbs PF earlier in the season.

Also, muscle weighs more than fat, two people who look the same in terms of height could be vastly different weights based on how much muscle mass they have.

I'm well aware of that, its why I specified the "definition/tone" comment in regard to their size AND height. During the playoffs Carmelo said he weighed 251lbs this past season breh. That being said. Don't assume that lack of definition somehow equates to lack of muscle/strength which is what it seems like you're doing. Having a larger layer of fat does not negate the muscle mass underneath. You realize that you ONLY get definition by burning fat, not building muscle. Not that this is the case here but two guys can have the same muscle mass yet one has on a fat equilvalent of a compression shirt and the other a sweater. Only cardio and high reps will cut you lean. This could be the case because they also create stamina which Lebron clearly has over Melo. Building muscle doesnt exactly make you stronger just bigger (its counterfeit). Its why bodybuilders will never have the strenghth of powerlifters that are the same size. BB grow muscle mostly, PL strenghthen it. The general rule with body sculpting is 4-6 reps to make it grow, 8-12 to increase its power and 15-20+ reps to define the muscle.

Back on topic (my bad) you're right he bounces guys off him but I've yet to see him bounce Melo off because its my understanding that they are quite close in size. Unless your saying Lebron weighs 270 which I strongly disagree on.

Why Is It Killing You That Melo Might Have A SLIGHT Edge In Something Over Bron? It Aint That Serious Bruh

Oh there is no doubt in my mind that Melo is a better prolific scorer than Lebron. I have no problem admitting that at all.

Just like many of my all time favorites werent the best at what they do:

Like one of my favorite players ever was Jamal Mashburn. I cant eveb begin to list all his shortcomings. Same for Mourning
