Piss-poor argument...

Jordan didn't score 30ppg every year, just like Kobe doesnt score 25 ppg every year...bottom line is, Kobe will have scored more points than Jordan when it's all said and done, and once again you Jordan stans show just how insecure you are

F*ck outta here Kurt Cokebaine, Jordan had 7 straight 30+ PPG seasons, and 8 over all (woulda been nine but not counting where he averaged 29.6 ppg) Kobe only has two. That's not even talking seasons like:

37ppg, 5apg, 5rpg 48% FGA ()
32ppg, 8apg, 8rpg 54% FGA (:whew:)
33ppg, 6apg, 7rpg 53% FGA (:mjpls:)

Not to mention in Jordan's days they had hand checking and played actual defense. Granted Kobe has played against better comp at the 2 spot, but that's about it. Kobe is Magneto, Jordan is Apolycapse, he is as far beyond Kobe, as Kobe is beyond the rest of the NBA.

I bought a Carbon 15 when I was 18
GOAT.

Don't be surprised if you see a Lebron James thread coming up because every time there's a positive thread about The Gawd complimenting his GREATNESS some insecure Lebrick stan runs and makes a thread about him also......Which to me he is very overrated, Durant is better.

Kobe stans talkin bout insecurity. :dead:

Jordan career PPG as a starter is 30
Kobe career PPG as a starter is 28, and that's with having to play a portion of his career with a 30 PPG scorer in Shaq.

Again do people believe mike would have the same numbers he had(especially in the ones he put up in the mid to late 80's on bad teams) next to prime shaq? :snoop:

Jordan isn't averaging 37 PPG on the 2000-2004 Lakers.

Btw why can't we have a kobe thread without mentioning Mike?:bryan:

As for league wide defense, the rule changes made the game back to what it was statistically in the 80's and 90's as you can see

League average DRtg
80-98 107.1
99-04 103.4
05-11 107.1

99-04' is the GOAT defensive era(well at least of modern basketball)

:rudy: You mean like when Delk went for 50 points? F*ck outta here, you obviously never saw the 90s pistons, heat, or knicks talkin' this bullsh*t. Nikkas is shook of Artest, imagine if Mason walked onto the floor like :shaq:

To put things in perspective Jordan got 32,000+ points after 14 seasons and it's probably gonna take Kobe 18 and a half to reach that mark. After 14 seasons Kobe was only at around 23,000 and some change, another WIN for MJ the GOAT :myman: :obama:

:cape:

'Cause Jordan played with a Shaq-type player, huh?

Shut up. :aicmon:

Took him long enough MJ would have had 38k+ if he played 18 full seasons.

MJ averages 30 ppg like Kobe averages 25 ppg. It's same like a 1,000 yard per year RB comparin' himself to Marshall Faulk or LT because he played 10 years. F*ck outta here :heh: Kobe the best now, but the fact it took him this look to even get to 30K, I can't see anybody putting him over MJ.

It's a goddamn shame that we can't even recognize the greatness of a player like Kobe as he's passing these all time great milestones in the twilight of his career without a bunch of a fukking fakkits looking for any and every angle to downplay it...it's amazing really...he's about to join Kareem, Malone, MJ, and Wilt as the fifth member of the 30K pt club...as fans of the game, what about that can't people just appreciate from a historical sense :dwillhuh:... my god
