I was at the gym this morning around 4 and while I was on the treadmill it hit me. Y'all are right. All of this backlash that Kobe is receiving is deserved. Here's why:

As a brotha that donated to the Trayvon Martin Foundation it makes me feel stupid becuz Kobe is basically saying that I didn't know what the fukk I was doing and that I wasted my time and effort. As I continued to run I found myself becoming more annoyed with his pompous attitude towards the issue.

I donated becuz a young black male was wronged and I felt like it was the least I could do to see that some wrongs needed to be right.

So this is me apologizing to yall three becuz yall were the only ones to come with some substance in this thread. And the shyt is straight truth.

Kobe just doesn't get it or understand that there is no equality when it comes to judgement of our people. Of course in an ideal world he'd be right, but it's consistently proven time and time again that the system is rigged. It's fukked up that the only reason that Jordan Davis killer is in jail is because he left witnesses. That racist cac would have gotten off had he killed them all!! shyt, they didn't even get the murder charge pinned on that piece of shyt! For every Tawana Brawley or Crystal Mangum, there are hundreds of cases where we get the when it comes to presumption of guilt.
I also would like to know how the question was asked though because for Kobe to say "I won't react to something just because I'm african american" does seem like that cac interviewer may have asked him some shyt like "Do you automatically assume that any black person charged with a crime is guilty?"

I say this because I just don't trust dem cacs in the media. Purposely asking loaded questions to get that controversial quote.

Ending my rant, but bottom line if a situation looks shady from the jump, I'm riding with the nikka until otherwise. And if that makes me full of shyt.. , because the system has BEEN full of shyt towards our people since inception.

I remember when Kobe called Laker fans stupid early in the 2012-2013 season because the whole team looked and Mike Brown was doing his usual terrible coaching. He said things would work out.

When presented with facts and evidence, this dude was still in denial or just could not comprehend the situation. I don't know if this particular case is him being an uncle tom, a self righteous douche, or he is just stupid himself. Could be a combination of all 3 as well .

Agreed. What is so wrong with blacks looking out for each other? I think we should support our own more often (not in criminal activities). Others communities do it but anything our community does is stigmatized and shamed. I bet Kobe wont call jews out for supporting other jews Ironically, if we didnt do anything we would be called out for not supporting each other .

Asking for the police to do their job now is akin to blindly supporting someone because they're black?
