Kobe is on that "we are the world" sentiment Kenny Smith is on explaining the shirt being worn.
I'll pass.
These fukkers are about to turn this into "save darfur" "free Tibet" trendy
This bytch is actually answering all these questions seriously.
Y'all forgot bout the trayvon martin thing real quick huh?
It's even beyond that. Dudes are making this an umbrella issue when black body after black body are being piled onto each other by law enforcement. They already did. It's rinse repeat as far as I'm concerned.
I can still appreciate the effort. But this always happens.
For real. Muthafukka are toeing the line while remaining safe under these umbrella sentiments.
ROSE THE ONLY ONE THAT ACTUALLY ADDRESSED POLICE BRUTALITY
IN HIS INTERVIEW.

"I think it would be a serious disservice to limit this to a race issue. It's a justice issue," he said. "You're kind of seeing a tipping point right now, in terms of social issues. It's become now at the forefront right now as opposed to being a local issue. It's really been something that has carried over and spilled into the mainstream, so when you turn on the TV and you watch the news or you follow things on social media, you don't just see African-Americans out there protesting.
"I grew up in it," Rose said. "I saw it every day. Not killing or anything, but I saw the violence every day and just seeing what can happen. If anything, I'm just trying to change the thoughts of the kids' minds across the nation, but it starts here."
"But my biggest concern is the kids. I know what they're thinking right now. I was one of them kids. When you live in an area like that and you don't got any hope, and police are treating you any way. I'm not saying all police [officers] are treating kids bad, but when you live in an area like that, it gives you another reason to be bad. My biggest concern are the kids and making sure that my son grows up in a safe environment."
Rose acknowledged that one of the reasons he decided to wear the shirt was because of his son, P.J., who turned 2 in October.
"That's one of the reasons why I wore the shirt," he said. "I'm a parent now. Probably two years ago, it probably would have been different. I probably would not have worn the shirt. But now I'm a dad, it just changed my outlook on life, period. I don't want my son growing up being scared of the police or even having that thought on his mind that something like that could happen.
"I have a cousin. That easily could have been him, or it easily could have been one of our relatives. It's sad that people lost their lives over that."
Listen to the rhetoric right from the get go, you could already tell where this was going. This protest shyt feels like another Occupy. Just some shyt for these gentrifiers to get all up in arms about so they can feel closer to the communities they've sterilized and mutilated. Turning black misery into hashtags and photo op moments isn't exactly some revolution shyt and honestly its transparent as fukk. But I'd rather they show some type of emotion or opinion instead of total apathy.
You see it JW.Kobe
Yeah I thought Bron sounded bad with his tip toeing and deflecting shyt "its about supporting the family, we have to do better as a society, violence is not the way". If he didn't want to say black or discuss race specifically he couldve just kept it about relating to folks in the hood which he has talked about several times already in his career. So I was a little disappointedKobe
