Man hard talking about this but I'm gonna get thru. I went to church that morning it was "jersey Sunday". Pastor let everyone wear their team cors and jersey. The young choir director was wearing a Lakers jersey I wanted to talk to him ask him how long he been a fan but for some reason couldn't get to him. I saw a kid wear a throwback Magic Johnson jersey . I had my phone off while I was at restaurant with fam.Went home with my folks I turn to Pro Bowl where it was announced Kobe passed. I ran down stairs yelling No no etc... It was definetely one of worst days I ever went thru. Didn't eat didn't sleep . I'm not into celebrity etc. Kobe always had place in my heart. Fact there was families aboard,teenage girls . This is rough and always will be. Here is the good part anyone who is Christian and believer we will see brother Kobe again .We may have lost him but we are 1 year 1 second 1 minute 1 day closer to seeing him again. Life is temporary and time is precious.

It's still unreal and how crazy how fast a year go by.....a full year?... I felt like its yesterday. RIP to Kobe and his daughter, Gigi and all the others that lost their lives on that tragic day

1:45 left in the fourth, raptors up 5: Kobe hits a fadeaway 3 from a standstill with the defender all over him. 105-103 raptors up
-> raptors respond, 107-103 raptors with 31.3 seconds left
-> Kobe catch and shoot corner 3. 107-106 raptors up
RAPTORS SCORE 109-106 With 8.4 seconds left, Kobe inbound play (double teamed) pump fakes one defender out of bounds, hits another 3 to tie the game
OVERTIME (15 points in the fourth)
Time game, Lakers have the ball, 20.6 seconds left: Kobe doubled at half court, blows by defender and dunks to put the lakers up 2 with 10.6 left. Lakers win

that last 1.45 of the fourth was straight the entire time. 3 straight disgusting 3’s, two of which had defenders draped all over him, then winning it at the end with a dunk. This is the one that stands out the most for some reason

I still can’t believe he’s gone. An absolutely devastating Sunday. The loss of Kobe was (and still is) already difficult to process, but when the reports came in that his daughter and her teammates were on that helicopter too... I lost it

I remember when the news first hit I morbidly found the silver lining that "Of course this nikka would go out in a helicopter crash " but then when you realize his daughter and all those other folks are in it...that shyt just HURT

That's a day I won't forget. I got up that morning and went walking. Got home and felt good and then I saw the thread on TheColi. What a sad and tragic day. A lot of people have been pointing fingers again today, as if someone can go back and change the outcome of that tragic day last year. I'm just gonna say I wish Kobe, Gigi, and all 7 had decided to not take the helicopter that day. If the Australia fires weren't a hint that 2020 was going to be sad and fukked up year, then this moment of the year should've tipped everyone off. to everyone who lost their life in that helicopter crash on that day.
