Can we stop talking about this bullshyt in this thread?

We got a few Wendy William's and Gayles up in here spilling tea..

Kobes family and family affairs is none of our business.. even Stephen A. bytch ass should have STFU

Yeah that should really be the end of it. Most of us in here men, it’s quite unbecoming to do some gossipy ass shyt like this. Let’s just let Kobe rest, let’s mourn his passing, and let’s not take ourselves, our folks, and each other for granted.

Can people stop commenting on Kobe's situation with his parents. None of us know fully what was said or happened. Every family has had or will have similar drama at some point. It ain't any of our business what went on with them. Just like it ain't anybody's business what goes on with you and your family.

Lets just get back to celebrating Kobe and what he meant to us rather than getting into his private affairs.

Even as a Kobe stan, with his passing, I'm learning something new about Kobe everyday. For example, I just saw this posted on Twitter. I never knew he was once on The Proud Family even though I grew up watching that show.

I cant believe my nikka Kobe is gone man

When my son is old enough to like basketball, I will have to explain to him that his daddy’s favorite player died tragically :mjcry::snoop:

Breh I hope we can get to a point where we enjoy Kobe post death like we enjoy Michael Jackson and his music. When we hear Michael Jackson songs you never think about him being gone because the music resonates. The music is so much of a cultural phenomenon that people talk about him like he’s a presence.

We know he’s gone but he did so much quality shyt that you can’t deny how good it makes you feel. He was part of so many eras and shined in all of them. Even kids who weren’t born when he was rockin know he’s special.

And that’s what the gatekeepers of Kobe’s legacy have to try to do. The praise and admiration has to extend beyond this shock period we are trying to cope with. How it happens, I don’t know but we will torture ourselves by being drowned in the tragedy.

this tragedy is a big thing; a monumental shift but it isn’t the sum of who this dude was. We saw a great career from start to finish and it should be looked at for how great it is.
