I know some people that just can’t do funerals or any things to do with death. In this situation you should just respect people’s right to grieve as they wish.

nah Sccit, I know you one of the OG Kobe stans but you gotta think about this. I'm sure Lebron is taking this extremely hard, Kobe's last tweet and IG post was about him. He also passed up Kobe's points record the night before, spoke to Kobe on the phone the night before AND the morning of (according to some reports), and the night he broke the record, he spoke for 5 minutes about what Kobe meant to him and how the "universe works in crazy ways".

Think of it this way, if it was potentially too much for him to even go to the event how would it be any easier for him to speak on why? Maybe where Shaq was as a person at that time made it more difficult for him to attend Chick’s funeral.
People live and grow breh, this might’ve been something that hit too close to home for Bron. I would imagine he was gonna be too demonstrably upset to be in front of cameras and preferred to be away. I don’t know honestly, but I just leave it alone when it comes to the grieving process. Everyone does it their own way. But yeah, I’ll also leave this subject alone out of respect.
