Remember I made a thread here on the Coli saying Kobe was the best in game dunker of all time and dudes didn’t wanna believe it. Kobe has dunks I’ve never seen other players attempt and make in-game. :wow:

Kobe's definitely got the best catalouge of in-game dunks. Nobody has as many amazing in-game dunks as Kobe.

i think the biggest difference between bean and today's stars while looking back at prime bean footage is this dude did everything 1 vs 1 or 1 vs 2... Dudes today need a mountain of moving picks. The eye test never fails

And that's why his peers always gave him his respect.

Go outside and play basketball. Its a different story when a guy is busting you 1 on 1 versus another guy who needs a screen to get you off him.

I just started scrolling through Kobe's IG last night, all the pictures from when he started. It was sad and funny at the same time. Man was posting like how you post when you first join a website:mjlol:..blurry pics, etc. Also all the moments from 2013, 14, and 15. Good memories

I tapped out after a few pics...eyes welling up again

this is mad unusual for me

maybe I’m getting “softer” as I get older

you work so hard/try to do so much...it can all be snatched away effortlessly smh

Naw bruh you just got feelings. I don't know how old you are but I will be 40 next month and am a life-long Lakers fan. I don't get emotional about celebrity deaths but this is different.

I watched dude grow up, his entire life unflod the good and bad and then to see him grow into a family man. Kobewas an a$$hole on the court always in killer mode and then when he's finally getting that out of his system, his family seeing him change and then "boom" he's gone...shyt hurts

I’m sorry but that goes to Vince carter hands down

Vince at his peak was definitely better. I'm still in awe when I watch Vince dunk highlights from 1999-2002. However, after that Vince doesn't have as many epic dunks. The only epic Vince dunk I remember in the NBA outside of a Raptors jersey was the one over Alonzo Mourning. Kobe sustained his athletic prime longer. From 1998-2005 Kobe was throwing down epic dunks nightly. He slowed down after that but still had highlights dunks every now and then until 2008. And then he had that revival in 2013 when he was throwing down crazy dunks.

Kobe and Vince are definitely #1 and #2 when it comes down to in-game dunk catalogue. I just think Kobe has slightly more epic dunks in his catalogue cause he sustained his prime longer despite Vince's peak being better.

What are y’all brothers going to be great today?

Kobe on my heart 24/7.

Had a terrible week so far. Wanted to quit today - but I have been diving into Kobe-related content on YouTube for 3 weeks straight, with most of it having nothing to do with hoops.

As I sat down ready to say “F” this week, I thought about some of the Kobe articles I have world about his work ethic. I thought about how a guy who is 300x wealthier and more important then I am found a way to push thought.

I made a few more excuses, then I said a prayer and got to work.

My book, that I have been working on for 3 years, has been knocked out almost to completion, in 7 hours, and still going.

My man will not die in vein, that Mamba Mentality sh!t is going to live forever, through action, not words.

Remember to live in greatness - that’s how you honor Kobe and those like him. I’m hella proud of myself, and can’t wait to share with the world.
